i'm trying to make a rhino beetle! looks pretty good, except its legs contort freakishly when it runs. i know Project Ball helps with this, but for some reason no matter what values I try, the closest i can get is still pretty awful looking: i tried using the values from Butterfly Chaser's grasshoppers, which look and move great, and it helped but it still has these weird gibbon limbs in certain poses any help?! i tried to position the legs like they're positioned on a real beetle, maybe that's a too radical change in position for Project Ball to help?

Have you tried adjusting things in the [ Move ] section? Sadly I know next to nothing about it, but mouse had a similar problem recently, and I think that worked for her!

i'm not 100% sure if this is a cure-all for this kind of an issue but anchoring all of the leg balls to one main ball seemed to work pretty good for me... here's the situation i was dealing with:  before i did anything i made sure to find exactly what the tail was projecting from, and i found multiple places. i removed the instances that weren't necessary and then i anchored my tail balls to the ball i wanted (ended up being ball 3, the booty ball)  so i think if you take your leg parts and anchor them to the nearest ball you want them to project from, and remove any other instances, you might be able to get what you like? like all hexing it's trial and error, hopefully i helped a little bit ;o;
