I've searched some other threads on here and tried to find free photo editors. I found one called paint.net, and it seems to have very basic tools that you might find on PaintShop Pro. Are there free editions of PSP that anyone knows of? Thanks in advance.

GIMP is a very good one, and I've used it for years. It has more to offer

if you want an online photoshop lookalike you could try photopea.com, its pretty good. otherwise GIMP is the next best thing to photoshop. its free and has a lot of good features ps has in a simple layout. (:

Similar to photoshop. Can use photoshop brushes.
Good for painting, has a lot of tools for comics/illustration.
Free Vector program.
I guess it depends on what you really are looking for in a free program. But those three are the ones that I know of.
