I would like to try and get back into showing, so here's some poses of a new Dachie mixie I just bred recently: How do these look? I tried to go by the guide the best I could, but I'm still not sure if any of them are show-worthy. Thanks for any help

I'm not an expert with dogz, but I think the first pose is the best. The head is straight (and so is the nose), wrists aligned, good curve on the tail... On the second pose, the eyes are not straight (hard to tell and compare the details because I'm on my iPad). The head doesn't look as straight as on poses 1 and 4. On the third pose, I think the wrists are not aligned as well as on the other three poses. Also, the head doesn't look quite as straight. On the last pose, the nose is uneven/not straight.

Thank you! I think I'll stick with the first pose for now, then.

Can dachies get a heart nose? If so, I would go for that.

That third one is a skinny pose and will be disqualified. However, the first and last poses look very nice and you should definitely be able to earn some points with those!=)

That third one is a skinny pose and will be disqualified. Skinny poses are to be disqualified with dogz? Is it a PKC rule, or just something "understood" in general dogz posing? I'm only curious because I had never heard about that before (I'm no expert with dogz though). With catz, I sometimes use skinny or fat poses, depending on how I want a particular kitty to look, or if they pose better one way or the other. Are you saying there's an actual rule against that for dogz, or is it just frowned upon?

^ A skinny pose in dogz doesn't mean the fatness slider is turned up/down, it's a slightly different animation that the "normal" pose. You can see how much smaller the chest ball is in the one picture! Catz don't have anything similar to skinny posing. I don't know about the PKC rules but I imagine it'd be an actual rule.

Oh, I see it now!! I thought for sure it was something about the fatness slider! But now that you mention it, I definitely see that uninflated chest ball! Is that the one sure-fire way to identify a skinny pose, or are there other things hinting to it? Nostalgic , would you allow me to use your poses to show the difference in the Dogz Guide? Anybody who has a few overpose examples (next to a good pose of the same dog) and willing to contribute them to the Dogz Guide would be great! Thank you for the explanation Arie!
