This pose has gotten BIS once, and HM 7 times. I think judges place it low because it looks like the legs in front aren't lined up, but if I turn the cat any more, you can see the leg behind instead. I need help because at the rate she's going, she'll never retire!

Mmh, yes, to me, it definitely looks like the front legs are too misaligned (I can also tell the cat is not positioned optimally from the gap between the back legs that isn't as wide as it could be for a B&W's legs). Could you post a few other poses to compare it to?
When a bit of legs shows on one side or the other, I look at the back legs and tail because I know the optimal position for each type of legs and tail, so I can usually tell from that if the cat was optimally aligned. Whenever I think it is optimally aligned, then I don't penalize as much for pixels showing one side of the other (it's sometimes unavoidable for certain types).
