So I recently bred a Catz that is as cute as a button but may be difficult to pose however he has a few breed mixes that seem to make striking a perfect pose near impossible. She is a Chinchilla Persian with I believe Calico, Alley Cat, B&W shorthair and Maine Coon in it. My biggest issue is the tail that while has the visage of a curvy tail seems to be straight like an alley or Calico. Also her size may make people think it's a baby when it is age 100. Should I pursue show poses of her? Is there a way to curve the tail? Or perhaps should I reserve her for cuteness contests? I wouldn't mind some advice before I decide whether to keep her or adopt her out to a loving home.

If you show her, I would make sure to put on a line below her info (Age 100) so people know.

Could you also post a picture of her not posing, but just standing, so I can see her tail? I don't think she has a Calico tail, but possibly an Alley tail. I've see Alley tails that don't quite look like one when posing, but won't curve nicely -- it's difficult to show because, indeed, it may look like a poorly-posed normal tail.

This is how it sits normally, straight at the base and kinks over at the 1/3 mark. I can't seem to get this curve when posing and the tail flicks outward before coming in to a straight independently. I think you are right that she might have Alley Cat behavior in her tail.

You're right, the kitty has one of those alley tails that only has one kink, and it makes it impossible to curved gracefully when posing, even though it appears she has a chinchilla personality.
It's a tough call whether to show her or not. Personally, as a judge, if I knew for sure the cat shown has such a tail, I would not fault it when judging. But other judges might, so she may have a hard time placing high in shows.

I may retain her for cute shows and sometimes EBW shows given her DNA
