Hey Guys ^^
This is something I have been wondering about some time now:
Which pets should you show off?
I have seen a lot of judged shows with all perfect pictures and often I would have picked a completly different winner, actually most of the time.
What do judges wanna see in a pet (beside a perfect pose)? A diversity in breeds? A nice overall look? A nice combination of colors?
I would love to get some answers since I am pretty new to showing my pets and wanna know which of them would be best for shows ^^

I think it doesn't matter what the pet looks like as long as it's posed well, at least that's what it says in the posing tutorial threads. I still haven't got around to showing so I'm definitely no expert but I think it's good to start with pets that are easy to pose and don't get scared or angry when you take pictures of them. Of course you can get those to pose too, it'll just require more work. Just pick the pets you like and want to show to other people.

Pose shows are all about the pose (or at least mostly), following accepted pose standards in the Petz Community. We have posted guides for both catz and dogz to help learn how to pose them, and what is considered a good or bad pose. Screbel is right in saying that some petz (breedz) are much easier to pose than others. I don't know much about dogz personalities, but if you're just getting started, it's much easier to pose a cat with a Tabby, Russian Blue, or Egyptian Mau personality, for instance, rather than one with an Alleys or Calicos personality. Orange Shorthair are the worst, and Siamese won't pose like other catz unless you use a trick to make them do so. Have fun showing!
