What do you think of these poses? Based on the front feet as well as the spread of the back legs, it seems like the front legs are aligned but the fuzz is just kind of...making it seem like not? How would these kitties fare in a show you're judging?

I think the cat on the left is fine. It looks very similarly posed to my fuzzy cat Snowpatch below, with the bits of fuzz that stick out evenly distributed on both sides of the leg. In my opinion, the cat on the right has a little too much of the outline from the other leg showing on the right side.

Thanks for your input! I think the cat on the right has a little too much leg showing, but I'm not sure how you can "objectively" tell. Is it the denseness of the black pixels? The cat on the left has many scattered black pixels, but in the right cat, they look closer together.

Well, the cat on the left is fuzzier (it has the alley fuzz), while the cat on the right is less fuzzy (has the Oshie fuzz). When there's a lot of fuzz, it's to be expected to look like the cat on the left, and if there's an even amount of fuzz on both sides, it's aligned in my opinion.
But the cat on the right, being less fuzzy, could have less showing. Also, it's all bunched up to the right side. Maybe the Calico leg (looks like?) is contributing to the effect, because a regular Oshie leg can actually look perfectly aligned despite its light fuzz (I was just going through a posing session with my newest Oshie mixie, which does have the same fuzz and texture, when I saw your thread!)
