Sweet baby Delta! No really, kind of! I had to work a little to get those angry shots to frame her pose! While she is cantankerous, it's more in a generalized way, a vocal dissatisfaction with life, if you will. She hardly ever directs it at the hand or at another petz. But yeah, she walks around with a chip on her shoulder and a scowl on her face. It just makes you want to give her more pats on the head, though, because really, those baby blues are so charming. She began her show career in March and was well-received from the start, with many BIS & 1st placements. I guess she just has a certain special ~something~. She loves the cheese, maybe a little too much, and she's definitely in favor of legalizing catnip, which is one thing that takes the edge off her unfair and cruel world. Poor baby <3 She's registered on PKC but has yet to enter any formal shows, instead choosing to focus on her Petz Citizen Scheme, where she has already earned GPC (Good Petz Citizen). I told you she was a sweetie! Status: Showing in PKC shows; retired from forum shows

Dition I <3 Dition. I think she's a great example of taking a cat that you like and then showing them turns them into a cat you love. I liked Dition a lot (that's why I kept her in the first place!), but once I started showing her I began to appreciate her on a whole new level.
It sure doesn't hurt that she loves to pose. It's her favorite thing to do. I had to scare her with this rug to get a picture of her doing anything besides pose, basically. Star power!! She'll do it in the middle of grooming, jump up from a nap, whatever! I started showing her in March and she finished her title in August, but that's only because I took a 4+ month break from showing her in the middle of that. She's consistently placed highly, with only three placements below 1st. At the PKC, she's got 9 points in just one month, including a "Best Companion Pet" placement, the only one of my catz so far to earn such a prestigious award!

Exciting day as we have our first dog to make it to SGCh!!! Unfortunately reigning SGCh Dition was not pleased about it. As the 10th consecutive kitty SGCh at Rattlesnake, perhaps she felt it was her duty to...keep it for the cats?
At first she even refused to acknowledge the new champion. Then she got snippy with her. Hanite pleaded but Dition wasn't having it. "Oh well I guess," Hanite shrugged as Dition tried to wash her hands of the whole thing. After thinking about it a bit, though, Hanite starts to feel some righteous anger. She tries to Dition's attention to show her award winning pose... But Dition refuses to actually look. It's on now... "Do I have to do this?" Dition gulps. "Presenting...our new SGCh." Congratulations, Hanite!

Hanite wasn't the first dog I entered into a show, but she is definitely the first to make it to SGCh! I bred her in 2015. I love her simple color scheme, her big chi ears, and her kiiind of enormous chest. Her name is pronounced "han-eet," and she's actually named after the island of Janitzio, which is in the middle of a big lake in Michoácan, Mexico. (I've never been there but my mom and dad have so I have some postcards and stuff.) Her show name is just a translation of "Janitzio," which means "Where It Rains." I thought it was fitting since she is all blue and white, cloudy windy stormy colors. Definitely didn't have time to make a show card for this one--her first show was on July 12th, and she finished her SGCh title on July 16th! I didn't even realize it because OMG that is ridiculously fast, right? So I kept entering her in shows until the end of July and now she has a lot of points. Definitely my quickest pet to make it to SGCh. and I still have a hard time believing she did it so quickly--and she did it with only one BIS placement. She deserves her favorite pink pillow and a nap after that whirlwind tour of the ring. She's registered at PKC but has yet to enter her first show there--baby needs a break! Grille was my first show doggy <3 I loved showing catz, but I wanted to show dogz too. My first attempts at posing them scared me a bit (they are so hyper and way more annoying than catz to get to stand still ). So I took advantage of Ali 's posing service at Whiskerwick. It was a great choice and it allowed me to start showing my doges. Grille is a sweetie and a goofball and one big reason for loving bullie mixes. I started showing him in June and his very first placement was a BIS! And he's gotten 5 BIS placings, the most of any dog I have so far (although Jordan is not so far behind with 4!). Grille is also tearing it up over at PKC where he won 8 points in his first round of showing. He also can't wait to have some pups... ;D Status: Showing in PKC shows; retired from forum shows

Margaret is a recent acquisition, I bought her in amenity 's PUGS shop, and her birthday is July 12, 2017. I was drawn to her simple colors and her big ol' tail (major weakness). I can't remember now if she came with the name Margaret or if I gave it to her. Either way, I gave her a showname to match--Handmaid's Tail, a pun on The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood. Margaret started showing pretty much as soon as I got her in July, and she titled at SGCh on the last day of that month (heyyy Harry Potter's birthday!). She got quite a range of ribbons, from BIS to third place. She was recently registered on the PKC and has just started her first round of showing. So I thought Jordan had a pretty routine welcoming ceremony... Margaret assess Jordan, finds him worthy of the title. And that's it, right? So I was doing other things on my computer and when I clicked back to Petz to put Margaret away... Seems like kind of a strong reaction, no? So I wondered...and I opened Margaret's profile to check... and sure enough... "Welcome to the SGCh club...also you're gonna be a dad." What a warm welcome, Margaret! That's definitely the first time this has happened. This is little baby Bush (named after Sam Bush of New Grass Revival). Looking just like both his parents <3 Congratulations x2, Jordan!

Omg!! I love Bush's double chest patch...! Is he gonna be in the show ring? Yes! He will definitely be in the show ring. I need to get all the competent dali posers I can and I'm realizing how relatively few dali faced dogs I own... >.>

Jordan was basically bred to show. I needed a new dog for dali poses, and going through my dogz folder I realized how few of them I had, and furthermore, how few of them I had could pose. I bred Jordan and lo--he could pose! And he's kind of an attractive fellow too, isn't he? So I started entering him in shows right away. His show name, "Jordan Almonds," was the first thing I could think of related to his name. Keep a secret from good old Jordan, though...I actually hate them. I love regular almonds, and other types of candied almonds, but those? Ugh no thanks. Jordan started showing in late July and finished up his SGCh title in early September. He already has his first show pup, out of SGCh Margaret. He couldn't even wait until after his welcoming ceremony! These show dogs of mine... His favorite pastime is sniffing balls. They seem to scare him, and he often worriedly sniffs them before rejecting them. This may have something to do with the fact that when he does find a ball he likes, alllll he does is lick it: Status: Showing in PKC shows; retired from forum shows

Bertrum Bertrum! I love this little kitty. I adopted him from Miss Ann Thrope , I can't remember now if it was a breeding request or freebie adoption, or maybe even PUGS... but I was pretty much instantly in love with him! Those big googly tabby eyes and extra puffy tail, guh. I gave him the name Bertrum, and then I was brainstorming a show name. I gave him the snow name "Every Flavor" because I love Harry Potter, and figured "Bertie" could be short for "Bertrum."
I started showing Bertrum in August, and he only entered nine shows before he got his SGCh title since he placed BIS in about half of what he entered! Way to go little buddy! He does have a stunner of a pose if I do say so myself ;D He's got the bug, and he's already earned four points over on RKC. I would say there are definitely kittens in his future--he's such a flirt. And he loves snacks.

Ona I adopted Ona years ago from Backbeat. She'll celebrate her 10th birthday next year! I remember really really wanting her because she looked my real-life dog (then my mom's dog, because I'd moved out and couldn't take her with me). She kind of acts like her too--Ona is such a goofball. She walks around with that bully walk, which just looks like she's trying to be top boss. So when I wanted to get into showing dogz, Ona was a top candidate because of her connection to my first and only doggo.
I used Ali 's dogz posing service to get her into the ring. She was the second dog I ever entered into a show. I started showing her in mid-July and she had her SGCh in September. Her show name "Dancing in the Dark" just happened to be the song I was listening to (this version) when I named her.
