This is Acai, and he seems to go into a show pose with a bit of encouragement. I just wandered if these are heading in the right direction, or completely wrong for a show pose? I know the face expressions are probably off. Mostly I'm wondering about the alignment. As far as I can tell the third pose has a slightly better angle. And if anyone has any advice for getting a good show pose out of him that would be wonderful <3

The third one definitely has the best alignment. His eyelids are still a little uneven, though. Calicoes often pose with uneven eyelids, which makes them one of the trickier breeds to show. They're not horrible in the third pose, but the eyelids in the second pose are best. Alignment is more important than eyelids, so if you'd enter a show with the poses you'd have now I'd definitely choose the third one, but if you can get a picture with the alignment of the third pose and the eyelids as even (or even more even!) as the second pose that would be ideal. Looks like you're getting the hang of it. Just drop him into alignment and keep snapping pictures until he eventually goes into a pose, and hope for even eyelids! You can try the "out the door" method too--put the carrying case into the far left of the screen, take him out, and immediately move your cursor to the right so that he follows it--sometimes catz will pose right when you let them out, and guiding them like that can insure a good alignment. It looks like you're having no trouble getting him to pose, though, so I don't think you'll need to use that method with him.

Thanks so much for the advice, I'll just have to keep snapping and see if I can get some more like the third pose with more even eyelids. I always thought calicoes would be easy to pose, I suppose it's just their eyelids, they have some silly expressions! And I'll be sure to try the second method with some of those petz to don't seem to want to pose for the camera
