Jess @ PRUPokemon following you was something I ALWAYS wanted, and I was over the moon when they added it...then they took it away. -.- I am, and always will be, all for bringing it back. I do like Pokemon Amie as well though...anyway, so you know, it was Heart Gold and Soul Silver that had that, not just regular Silver, as that was the original GBC game. You probably knew that, but just wanted you to be sure if you planned to rebuy it. xD The underground mining was from Diamond and Pearl. I loved that too, and I'd like to see a better version of it where you can play with people online. I liked playing capture the flag with my sister, but with only two players it was boring. xDD I have literally JUST started my Pokemon X game, and JUST got the rollerskates...I love them. xDDD And ORAS you mean (it's a mix of the two games...Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire) SHOULD be a lot like Ruby, since they're a remake of Ruby and Sapphire. xDD Just with updated graphics, more to do and more to catch. I hate those 'let's all hate this thing because everybody on the internet is doing it' it's such an annoying, pointless thing to do, in my opinion. If you're gonna hate something, do it because YOU don't like it...not because everybody ELSE doesn't like it, you know? xD

I loved the underground mining, too! It was fun to have a simple little mini game that actually landed you rewards for the main game. I know we've also had voltorb flip and slot machines, but those were never as fun to me.
Maybe people don't like Popplio because it looks so goofy. That's part of the reason it's my least favourite.

CatCreature Pokemon following you is my favorite thing! Does this game not have it? I mean some games had it in certain sections, and Pikachu follows Ash 24/7 in the show. So them following you would be amazing. The mine in Pearl/Diamond was fun too. I loved the bases and the mining games which would let you get items and Pokemon. Also I loved how friends could run around the mine together. I still remember where mine was even though I deleted that save haha. Also it's hard to use the quote button on mobile so to quote you here, "I hate those 'let's all hate this thing because everybody on the internet is doing it' it's such an annoying, pointless thing to do, in my opinion. If you're gonna hate something, do it because YOU don't like it...not because everybody ELSE doesn't like it, you know? xD" I know I've said the same thing but I hate that too. I feel bad liking things that people have for some reason agreed to universally hate. And then I feel obligated (like if I'm recommending something) to say I like it but others don't. But anyway, I know you've said you liked fan art of Pokemon better than real Pokemon and their evolutions sometimes, and I found some cool art of the starters I'll have to find later

OF COURSE A NEW POKEMON GAME COMES OUT WHEN I'M TRYING TO SAVE MONEY. -SCREAM- But in all honesty I think these new starters are adorable. I'm kinda bummed they went the route they did though, I would've preferred new mixtures. Grass/Water, Fire/Flying, Water/Rock? I dunno. Anyways, I think I might go with the Grass type.. I absolutely LOVE owls, and I think these designs are adorable. I'm really hoping that their final evolved forms aren't as cutesy though, but nintendo never fails to deliver. I'm probably going to go with Sun, I mean.. Dat legendary, tho.

Yayyy! I'm glad that I"m not the only one that missed the underground mining.
Seriously, Soul Silver/Heart Gold and Diamond/Pearl were such good titles ;__; I wan them to bring fun pictures like the follow you around/mining/Olympic games or whatever back SO bad. Otherwise, yeah, I might go back and play one of the those titles again xD

Jess @ PRU I have Pearl and want to play it just to transfer Pokemon to ORAS, but it felt like Pearl had wayyyy more trainers to stop you. Running into them got really annoying for me and it's why I didn't enjoy Pokemon xD When I finally played again (ORAS) I was happy with the number of trainers. So I'm hoping the new one isn't annoying xD But yeah I miss some features in Pearl I'm just too lazy to play again haha.

I ended up transfering my Soul Silver/Diamond pokemon over to X (or Y? I always forget which one I have) and I think it added to the game a lot for me because I've transferred pokemon around through multiple generations & have had some of those pokemon a long time. I think you need Black/White before you can stick them in ORAS, though. Like a straight Diamond/Peal -> ORAS/X/Y isn't possible I have a love/hate relationship with the trainers that sneak up on you. I like them, but agree that when there is a ton it can be annoying. But I also love the computer trainer battles and to me they're a lot more fun than grinding EXP in the grass. I hope there is an easy way of re-battling trainers for EXP. And then regions are not over-packed with trainers. I love being able to use an item or something to re-battle them and hope that's included.

What is everyone's opinion on the Pokémon black&white and black2&white2 generation? I've just started over in myPokémon White game (probably going to do the same for White2 after finishing this one). There are some pokémon in this generation that I'm not a great fan of, but these games also have a lot of good things to offer=). I actually think it's quite fun and challenging that you can only catch Pokémon from that certain generation in the first games, instead of going the familiar route by catching pokémon from previous gens. They did made that possible again in White2, which I didn't mind one bit either^^ but it sure was fun trying to get a balanced team with pokémon I'd never even heard of before, haha.

They did made that possible again in White2, which I didn't mind one bit either^^ but it sure was fun trying to get a balanced team with pokémon I'd never even heard of before, haha. I actually JUST wrote about those particular games to a friend over PM like, yesterday? xD Funny you brought those up! I originally thought Black and White had the worst designed Pokemon I'd seen so far. (Anybody who knows my opinion on this generation already knows what I'm going to say next, but...TRASH BAG POKEMON? REALLY?) The number of Pokemon from this generation I actually liked is very, painfully small. I find they started to grow on me though. I put that trash bag Pokemon, Trubbish, on my team to see if it was better in battle than its' appearance...to see if it was really worth ANYTHING. xD As it evolved into Garbodor (which looks and sounds even worse...) it became one of my most-used Pokemon on my team, and really came through a lot! I've become used to seeing the others around often enough that I don't really think they bother me so much anymore. But I'll never get over the stupid idea of making a trash bag Pokemon. I cannot imagine how out of ideas they had to be to come up with that. xD THAT SAID...I honestly believe that Black and White (and Black and White 2) have THE VERY BEST characters and plots so far! I've never been into any of the characters (well, I'm mostly referring to rivals and enemies) so far. And the storylines haven't been that interesting, or you didn't really feel they were quite as present all the time. But the entire time I played Pokemon Black, I ADORED the characters. They had so much personality, uniqueness, even the villains were pretty amazing and intense at the end! The storyline just got better and better and I felt it around be all the time, and kept feeling like I needed to advance quickly to get more. I just felt very engrossed in it, and I loved it. And the characters are my favorite in that game. Black and White 2 pretty much just kinda carries on a little bit from there, and while it's more laid-back from what I remember, it was worth it just to see where all the characters ended up, and to visit them all again! So despite me not being a huge fan of most of the Pokemon from that generation...the storyline and characters made the games the best. Black and White are the best plot-wise and character-wise, in my opinion. I have random favorites for random reasons. Heart Gold - Remake of my first game ever, Gold, but with the feature of Pokemon following you, what I always wanted! Plus Johto is my favorite region! Black - Best characters and plot ever X - Can't deny that customizing your character is fun, and the graphics are pretty awesome, AND Pokemon Amie! <3 (I'm still discovering most of this game though, so that's about all I know xD) Red - Because you can't beat the classics. <3 Red was the first I played between Red and Blue, so I picked that one. xD Those are probably my favorites, all for different reasons. And I already think Pokemon Sun and Moon have potential to be a new favorite...for the location alone! Did I mention I'm loving the tropical theme? Because I am!! /longoldladydialogueaboutpokemon

I like the pokemon from black/white, the only thing I didn't like was when they made black/white 2, it just seemed such a rip-off in terms of naming the next one(s) for that gen.

^ I do agree that 'Black 2' and 'White 2' were terrible name ideas. xP

^ Agreed, they seem to have hit a slump in the naming department.
Although I'm glad we can still play the new games on the original 3DS, for the longest time all they had were the XL's for the newest ones in the US and I was not shelling out money for a game that I would have to wear my glasses to use.

Haha, I get where you are coming from, but if there is a place for Grimer and Muk, why shouldn't we embrace the existence of a trash bag pokemon as well?=D Same for the Klink, Klang and Klinklang evolution line. They look really... stupid uncreative, but I just compare them to Magnemite, Magneton and Magnezone in that they have been put in the game by the creators, I just don't give them any attentionxD haha.

And to be fair they made Pokemon based on letters of the alphabet in some of the earlier generations LOL. (Though I have never gotten into them I think they play an interesting role in one of the movies?)
