Sorry if this is a stupid question, I wasn't huge into showing before, but I really want to get into it now. Posing petz is way harder than I remembered!
I've been trying to use positive reinforcement when my dogz sustain an attempted pose, rather than just goofing off - but I'm not sure if this was written into the AI or not.
Has anyone else had any luck with training their dogz (or catz) to pose?
Edit: I didn't want to spam the board with a new thread, so I'm going to use this thread to ask for feedback.
I'm trying to get Jollyflakes to pose, and I think he's starting to get it (maybe I answered my own question? ) Is this any good?
haha, just kidding.
I've been pouring over posing guides and other people's requests for feedback.. so I think I get the basic points: match the ankles, high breathing point, being able to slightly see the other eye in the dane pose..
So far I've come down to these four.
Are any of these good? The second one has both eyes visible. My own sensibilities tell me the first one is best, but I have no idea what I'm talking about. Any feedback would be quite appreciated <3

posing definitely works by reinforcement. the way that you would see the biggest difference is through reinforcement while naturally raising a pet. that's when you tend to notice it a lot and will say "oh man, [pet] is so much easier to pose than the rest of my crew!" for adult petz, you can definitely teach them to pose more quickly & easily (and more correctly, not so much alignment-wise, but they get less frustrating with aligning their head) and it does pass down so if both parents have been 'trained' then the offspring are going to be easier to pose assuming that they don't have a personality type that doesn't pose (ie. poodle personality).
anyway! that's my little ramble about posing, haha. out of the four poses you've got, my eye gets drawn to the last one. my personal preference as a judge, but this alignment technically is not incorrect, is to align both sets of angles more evenly. right now, to me, he looks slightly more away from the camera however judges don't fault for this because in OB breedz, you can align them like this and they aren't technically unaligned.
