Working 12 hours straight at a daycare is super stressful...add a party held at the day care- we put up all the kids art work on the fence and bbq- with a bounce house, snow cone machine, cotton candy machine, and kids hopped up on sugar and dealing with some pretty crazy parents....not excited....not even a little...

I'm sure we've both got oodles of tales that would make a great book Parents, well, you can't really blame them most of the time. After all, we have major influence over their children's lives, whether that's good or bad haha Speaking of work, coworkers... well... all I can say is I am both shaking my head in shame and laughing my patootie off, like goodness. ^-^

^ No we've got some actual crazies. Like sometimes it's scary lol Most of our parents are awesome. On the co-worker note, I sometimes can't stand them. Just because a lot of the time it's "they aren't my kid" comes up which irks me since it shouldn't matter "who's" kid they are if they need something do it....but we are like family and bicker, torture and laugh together...I guess that's why I haven't actually looked too hard for a new job. I love those kids, I've known most of them their whole lives.

I tried to make amends with a friend today by text, but she's in school so she said she's talk to me after. I regret everything becuase I've been sitting here staring at the clock nervously. Ack.

It's a Saturday night...there is a party going on and I was invited...BUT my car is still broken lame. HOWEVER it will be getting fixed for the extremely low price of $65 I am so grateful that my friends boyfriend is awesome and was willing to help me out! He even is charging me $20/hr for labor, where as my uncle if I could get him to do it would charge $40....I'm glad it's going to work out though, I was feeling pretty hopeless about it.

Car is fixed, well sorta. It still is too hot, but it doesn't over heat, which boggles my mind. However it doesn't leak anymore which is a plus...but I now have to buy a battery :/ Also taking my grandma out to dinner <3

I love those kids, I've known most of them their whole lives. ^ lol yeah, I can relate. Our staff is a small bunch of great people, except there's this one woman that literally nobody likes at all because she thinks she is above changing diapers and makes the assistants [such as myself] change the diapers of kids that SHE is in charge of, even when the assistants [such as myself] are in a different room for a different teacher??? Like, I dunno, some people just don't make sense lol. And yeah, I dunno but coworkers in this kind of setting is a family. We're all looking out for each other all the time & love everyone twice as much c: There's usually a lot of fights over which class gets which snack for a certain day lol. And probably about 3 teachers are pregnant, so we're all covering shifts for each other - in fact, I have to go in tomorrow at 8am-6pm to cover with the toddlers. lol I rule the toddler room so it's cool.

I've gone through my phases with each age group. For a while I was all about the babies and then I only wanted Toddlers, now I'm the 3 year old teacher and I love it. My kids are great and actually I have all girls 99% of the time. Most of our bickering is over the cleaning. Some people want everyone to clean as they go and make sure everything is exactly where it should be at the end of the day, and others want to do their cleaning waaay before their shift would even be over. We have this one girl who ALWAYS has her cleaning done at naptime, so everyone has to eat snack on the carpet or outside. It's irritating because no one else is allowed to get away with it. She also is constantly sleeping on the job and the State came in a had to interview all of us about it since a parent complained. It still happens but my boss won't do anything about it. She just laughs and tells her to wake up like it's some kind of joke...thankfully nothing serious has ever happened while she was asleep...she also comes in drunk and although we complained about it numerous times, my boss still thinks it's funny or whatever....
okay...end rant lol
