I am a very prolific writer and my usual minimum daily word count is 2000+ (often 4K-5K) And I'm looking to bring together the writers of RKC in an circle kind of like the people who draw have. You don't have to be good at writing. I and others can help you improve upon your writing with constructive comments.'
I firmly believe everyone can learn to write a readable, enjoyable story. So few are good at anything the first time they try. Don't be discouraged! I started writing when I was 11. I'm so glad those notebooks don't exist anymore! Even five years ago I was not as developed as a writer as I am now. I've reached a point where the majority of the people who read things I ask them to, pester for more when I don't offer more soon enough.
I've been told I'm good, I just don't see it yet ^_^
So here's how this works:
What I'm working on:
I'm working on a darker piece that my usual writings. It's called Blood Eagle's Promise, and it's about Blood Eagle (Arundel) and his promise to rescue his father's brother's kingdom from the destruction that will be forced to occur(in a later novel) It's sci-fi/fantasy and it is aimed at grown-ups basically.
Word Count:
I've written as of posting...~1500 words (though I deleted two paragraphs that I went off on a tangent on.)
Snippet:
"With great power, there must be even greater control. My force of will is often considered to be unrivaled." She nodded her head. "Too many foolishly underestimate my splendor, power, and temper and overestimate my tolerance for idiocy and incompetance."
And yes...I'll read most works.
Your turn!
Listing of those willing to read other's works:
petzforum.proboards.com/user/1335 Duke Arundel - Plot Holes, General Commentary, Form, Grammar/Spelling - Does not read Thriller/Horror

So here's how this works:
- Describe the story you're working on, tell us a bit about the characters, the plot, if it's long or short
then, say how many words/pages/paragraphs you've done today (Don't worry if it's not a lot. any word you didn't have before is good. NaNoWriMo teaches us this!) - Then if you want post a snippet (Must be RKC appropriate!)
- Finally, please list if you'd be okay with looking at longer passages of people's works and if so, what you're good at (Can you find plotholes? Do you know grammar quite well? Are you good with word choice?) I will edit this post with such information. Also include any genres you prefer to not read.
