Just wanted to ask if you're ok with people hexing from your cookie monster breed file for example simple color changing?

Just wanted to ask if you're ok with people hexing from your cookie monster breed file for example simple color changing? Yep! My breedfiles can be hexed on. ^^ I'd love to see what people do with them too, since I'm always curious haha! So go for it!

Just wanted to let everyone know that after my site's lengthy downtime (the server it was on broke, and repairs had to be made) it's finally back online! If anything seems to be missing or not working right, let me know! But it seems to be back and working well!

So last night, my sister and I were having a BLAST with K's trick for giving some 1st gen Petz some unique traits...after we made a bunch of unique Petz with plain 'ol 1st gen appearances, I decided to hex them a little to make them stand out more. I shared some with my sister. Then realized...why not share with anyone else who's interested? If you want to meet these unique critters, check out the Downloads area on my site, under For You to get them! I noticed the changes in their behavior is mostly subtle, and certain traits are different between Catz and Dogz. For example, Sheepdogs trot all the time, but if you manage to get that trait onto a cat, they don't trot. They become 'floofers' instead, meaning they're easily dropped on their bellies and they run like prancing babies. xD So the traits these guys have might not be obvious. (I did put in their descriptions what I 'swapped' them with) But there's definitely some differences in there. Bork (the white and black Alley...who's actually a bunny!) being the most obvious. xD See what unique behaviors you can find with these guys! It's been a lot of fun. xDD

So since I got asked about these a few times, I figured I'd host them on my site. (Info is there as well.) They're under For You/Downloadables For Your Game, and you scroll down to Downloadable Petz! Similarly to my last update, these guys are Petz with altered personalities. But they were made and shared years ago by Relo (or Reloaded) and it seems like whenever I bring them up to people, 99.9% of people have never heard of them. So since they were pretty neat, and freebies to anyone who was around at the time, I figured I'd host them for her as downloadables, so they don't disappear completely with time. ^^ So if you want to check them out, you should be able to go download them now! --- Also, I have 'Little Ones' coming soon. No-Grow overwrites for each breedfile of the game. I'm literally only waiting on one person's permission for the release...I PMed Meer a while ago, and once I get the green light, I'll finish up what I was working on and you guys can have those to play with too! ^^ Soon...

Oh my gosh I'm really looking forward to the No Grow overwrites! I think it would make for such a fun thing to occasionally offer up a litter of pre-done No Grows. Some Petz look so much better as little ones than when they grow up, and I find I get attached to an adoption image when it's young much easier... haha...
It'd also be really cool if altered personalities became an easier/more of a thing in hexing. Imagine being able to customise specific traits as well as appearances - so many possibilities for completely custom Petz. <3

And I suppose if giant puppies are your thing, it's no loss that the file does this to offspring of the Petz you already own. x'DD I didn't actually think to try with Catz...it miiiight be less noticable with them, as they're smaller.

I find puppies to be way cuter than when they grow up 🙈 smonikkims , one thing to note though! For some reason, I couldn't get the overwrites to effect Petz you already own. Their offspring turn into 'giant' babies. If you hex them to be small and breed them, it still doesn't turn out quite right. So far this only seems to work well for a new breeding line. It's not ideal, but the best I could do. Makes for a fun challenge though, to breed up a brand new line of all babies! ^^ At least, I was having fun with it. xD I believe I read somewhere once that sizes are inherited at a .pet file level? Also thank you for the new files to download :) I'ma check them out!

To be fair, I think Petz are cute as adults -and- as babies. xDD It's why I don't usually hex Petz to be no-grows, because I like them as adults too! And some of my no-grow line I'd be curious to see as adults...I guess it's a good thing though. You can't go wrong either way. xD And ah yeah, are you saying that Petz inherit sizes from their parents, regardless of any extra files? I think that's how I wound up with a mini when trying to shrink my adults into no-grows and breed them with these OWs. xP STILL not quite what I wanted!

Very small update, but I've got my 2020 Christmas theme up. It's crowded, but I somehow can't help putting new pictures of my passed on pets' Petz forms up around Christmas. I don't get to see them at Christmas anymore, and it simply isn't the same. So they get the spotlight around Christmas, both on my site, and in my game. I really appreciate these Petzy memorials around this time of year. Only three of those pets in the graphic are alive today...possibly four, as I included a feral I wish we could have taken in. I have no idea how she is today. </3
On another bittersweet note...Madison, my passed on dog (the black and white one) would have been 18 at the end of this month. No longer a minor. xD I miss our Christmases together more than anything. That was a dog who knew how to spend a Christmas.
