If you're curious about what I've been up to since I just sort of disappeared, here's what I -finished- since then. There's a lot more stuff that I've started or is in progress but I'm not about to flood this topic with pictures of things that aren't done. Yarn: Hand-dyed, color named Celeste. One of a kind. Pattern: Stepping Stones by Clara Parkes, "The Knitter's Book of Socks: The Yarn Lover's Ultimate Guide to Creating Socks That Fit Well, Feel Great, and Last a Lifetime" I love these socks! They're the snuggest fitting pair of socks that I own and are the first real pair of socks I've ever made. The 'other' first pair came out more like slippers. Those slippers taught me a lot but I'd never show them off. XD ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Yarn: Red Heart Super Saver, Heather Dye lot N/A Pattern: Modified On Ravelry: XOn etsy: XOn craftsy: X(The urls are really long) I wasn't sure what to make my husband's family for Christmas this year so I just started churning out kittens like it was cool. I had to take a break when my wrist gave up but I'll be finishing them soon. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Yarn: Red Heart Super Saver, Burgundy Pattern: Improvised, based on this tutorial www.talkingtails.com/sweater.html

Oh my gosh the kitten is adorable. ;_; He looks even cuter than the ones in the links. I'm sure they'll be a big hit.

Can I please have your socks? Hahhaha (: I have mad respect for anyone who knits/crochets because it really isn't all that easy. The little amigurumi kitty is adorable ♥ oh, and your dog looks adorable in his little sweater!
You've been putting in a lot of work haha and it all looks GREAT! c:

Rose, Not my first pair of socks! D: But if I make another pair, then maybe. XD Ibiscribe: Thank you! I hope they do well, too. I also hope they don't do too well because my mother in law will steal them all. XD Silver: I missed you, too! Taiko loves his sweater, too. I've added sleeves since that photo but I just really like that picture of him. He's camera shy and squirms a lot. XD So I'm just glad to have a picture of him that isn't super blurry. Thank you everyone! Next to my dogs, knitting and crochet are my biggest passions. Then comes cooking. : P But I'm not creative enough to make recipes. Yarn: Lion Heart Brand Homespun in Pearls Pattern: Chain 8, hdc in st 3 sts from hook, hdc every stitch. Turn, hdc every stitch. So... improvised. So... a little back story on this scarf. I don't remember making it. Honestly. I don't. And it wasn't even like I made it a long time ago. I started this scarf the day I had my wisdom teeth pulled to give me something to work on as I healed and I wanted to keep it simple knowing I'd be doped up from the sedative (they put me under conscious sedation, but I was lucky enough to sleep through most of the procedure) and from the pain killers they'd be giving me for the following days. Well, I took one percocet as soon as I had access to a drink (drinking anything is hard when your face is numb and swollen, fyi) and fell asleep. After that first pill, everything was sort of a haze. I remember that being sober meant that I was going to be in pain but I healed quickly so I ended up not having to take all my pills. Hooray. Anyway, the reason I don't remember making this scarf (and I did it all in one day mind you) is because I was so messed up on drugs. I went into the dentist's office expecting to be able to knit socks (see first post) but you can guess how that went. So there's that. It's pretty long, too. I haven't taken the time to measure it but when I drape it over my neck without wrapping it, each end reaches below my knees.

If you paid for shipping, and yarn, I'd totally be down for that. XD BTW, I'm nearly done with a pair of socks that I designed. Yarn: Charade Alpaca Mix by Imperial (JP) Pattern: My own! It's finally almost done! I have to run to the local yarn store and buy another ball of yarn but after that, I should have enough yarn to make these a pretty decent length. The cables are a little tight (short, whatever) and I still have to make some changes to the pattern before I feel comfortable publishing it, but there you have it. If anyone's interested, I can share the pattern here when it's ready. :3

Is it alright if I double post to update? Or would a new topic be better? Yarn: Red Heart Super Saver Pattern: Improvised Funny thing about travelling is that sometimes, your bottle of hair conditioner can burst open in your check-in baggage next to your 'travel' yarn. While that doesn't seem like it would ruin your yarn, I was lucky enough to only have one ball of wool get ruined and all the other yarn was acrylic. So Cerberus has a super soft sweater now. Hooray. : D

what kind of stitch did you use on that dog sweater? since the picture isn't close up, it almost looks crocheted & i just did a double-take! lol
anyway, your dog sweaters are really cute, & i loove the color of this one. :3

I just used stockinette and ribbed stitches. The only other stitch I used was k2tog to shape the chest piece. Methinks the next sweater will have cables. And be orange.
