Hello, RKC people!
My name is Carole, better known as Ratqueen in the Petz Community. I was born in Lausanne, Switzerland, and my first language is French (oui). I moved to the US a long time ago, following my dreams. Doing so taught me English, and that grass isn't always greener on the other side. Outing in the Swiss Alps -- I used to live about a one-hour drive from there.
I now live in Ohio with my long-time partner, John, and my 2 cats, Puppet and Butters. I've had a lot of rats in my life, but don't have any right now -- that would be risky with 2 indoor cats (I miss having rats crawling around though!)
Puppet (black and white) and Butters (orange).
I'm rather shy and reserved when I don't know people, but once I feel comfortable around someone, you can't shut me up -- and I love banter. I prefer 2-on-2 interactions, or very small groups of people that I know. I'm straightforward and pretty outspoken (my partner says "blunt", haha).
I love PC gaming, board games, reading, and heavy metal. My dream would be to live on the road, in an RV.
Speaking of heavy metal, I've written a few songs. You can check what I've shared publicly on my Bandcamp page, here: trojanrat.bandcamp.com/releases
I started playing petz a long time ago. My first dog (named Bytes) was adopted in Dogz 1 in 1996. A year later, in 1997, I adopted my first cat, Zachary, in Catz 1. I kept screenshots of them all those years: ...Bytes (1996) | Zachary (1997) I started the RKC forum in June of 2003. That was more out of necessity than anything else because the big petz forum of the days (simply called "The Petz Forum", if I'm not mistaken), the one where everybody would hang out back then, had just closed its door suddenly and permanently, without warning. That was quite a shock, I remember. Members were floating around, forum-less, so I decided to rally them into a new one, taking the opportunity to try out some of my ideas like Express Shows, and hoping for better organization and maintenance. That's how RKC was born. It took off pretty quickly and steadily, with a lot of the "lost members" of the other forum joining here.
I hope you have a good time here on RKC!

Human by Day, Rat by Night. And aside from myself, I have 12 potatoes (rats). Dagna, Piper, Briala, Hazel, Leliana, Edi, Brody, Cassandra, Miranda, Penelope, Dorian, and Shale. (A cookie for you if you know where all their names come from) I'm a very serious book nerd when it comes to reading. You will find just about everything from C.S. Lewis to Stephen King in my bookshelves, the most prominent being the Warriors series by Erin Hunter. I love the series and it's the easiest way to get me talking to someone I've never met before. For that reason, aside from finding me on RKC, you'll more than likely find me roleplaying my Warriors on Curled Tails. That being said, I'm also the human you'll find who buys video game guides for pretty much every game they own. Not because I need them, because I want to know every last little nuance the game has to offer. I love The Sims 3, Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy, Pokemon (I have over 600 caught), Dragon Age, Mass Effect, and Kingdom Hearts. I did try therapy for my sims addiction once, I escaped within 5 sim hours so it didn't go well. My favorite pokemon is Absol, as I have one that lives with me at level 100. She's been with me since Emerald and I have no means of ever leaving her behind in an old game. I also love food, not so much cooking, but eating. Though I do enjoy baking, because I don't eat as much of it, I'd rather spread it around to other people. One of my favorite channels is Food Network, with a good reason and I even maintain a food blog by the name of Nommables. I'm also a tad bit of a Disney nut, to the point where no one will play Disney Trivia with me any longer as I know most of the answers. It's sad.. That leads into my music, I've collected soundtracks from as many Disney movies as I can get my hands on, plus many many others. You can find everything from Bach to Rammestein in my CD collection. Netflix: Can we just say love at first rent? If most of you could look at my list on there, that would probably leave you as confused as netflix is when it suggests things for me to watch. I love renting tv shows and that takes up the majority, with a few movies I either haven't seen or just love to pieces. I almost always have Instant Download in the background when I'm online, trying to work on something. I've got Dino documentaries, Mythbusters, Food Network shows, Bones, NCIS, Gilmore Girls..You get the idea. Which also spawns another one of my obsessions, Gilmore Girls. I've been a fan of the series since I first saw it, am either watching that or NCIS while I go to bed..and have all seven seasons on dvd. My first true love of petz and always will be, is Cin. He's what's kept me in the petz world and will always be cherished on my computer, no matter which one I'm working off of. I also love showing, breeding, mutations..pretty much everything that exists in the petz world. Including the PC itself. Contacts: Email: spottedscar@gmail.com Facebook: Bex Bishop I don't mind random friend requests (or messages on Google Hangeouts). Just let me know who you are.

How have I never spotted this thread before? Super fun/cute idea, you guys rock. :3
And I didn't know RKC started after a big petz forum shut down. I'm totally going to look at this place / guys differently now. (In a good way) Or. something like that since I actually don't look at anything other than whatever you post xD But you know what I mean. xD

About MeHello RKC peeps! My name is Cheryl but you can call me Catbaloo, Cat or Baloo. I don't mind, as long as it's polite. I live by the coast in East Anglia with my fiancé and our daughter. In my spare time I enjoy playing the ukulele, drawing, knitting and spending far too much time on the computer. I stalk Tumblr, Twitter and Youtube on a regular basis. I enjoy following a lot of artists/cartoonists and video game related sites/people in particular. I am interested in comics and animation/stop motion from various backgrounds and countries. Video games are a big passion. If I'm not playing them I'm talking about them. I'll play pretty much anything but I especially enjoy platformers, simulation games and arcade classics. I'm more into PC gaming at the moment but I've been a life long Nintendo fan. Current favourites: SimCity 4, Cities Skylines, Skyrim, World of Warcraft, Undertale.
TV: I love watching reruns of Star Trek, TNG and TOS in particular. When I venture into the open air I enjoy cycling, Pokemon Go and walking somewhere quiet where you can just take in the air and your surroundings. I like trying to identify birds (although I'm not much good at it.) and insects fascinate me. I have to stop and look if I see a colourful bug walking across the path. (But we all do that right?)
Petz Story
I've first played Petz around a friends house when I was around 14 or 15. We didn't have a computer at home so I didn't get to play it as much as I would have liked. Over time I kinda forgot about it until I was on a virtual pet kick in 2004. I have a fair few Tamagotchis amongst other things that I've collected over time so naturally I wanted to see what good virtual pets I could buy for the PC. I did a search on Amazon and found Catz 5 and the memories came back so I ordered it and was soon hooked.
I only got into the community as far as downloading files from many of the cool sites out there like Boardwalkerz and Carolyn Creations. I never got into the forums at the time but I admired the creativity that I had seen. I came back to the game a few times over the years adding Dogz 5 and Petz 4 but it was only when I started playing the game with my daughter that I discovered the PC properly and was excited and intrigued by all the different things people were making and the various playstyles. I thought my interest might wane after a few months like it does with a lot of games but somehow the game and community got under my skin and I've been around ever since.
What am I doing now?
I play mainly just for the fun of playing with these little characters. It's a bit of escapism. I love taking pictures to see if I can catch them in a funny or endearing pose. I love Petzy files and toony looking petz. Anything that looks full of character. I love all of the breeds but particularly persians (and Sunhill persians) and I've somehow ended up with quite a few meezers. My crew site, Mashed Potatoz (link in sig) seriously needs updating but quite a few of my crew members are there. I can hex to some degree. It took me a while to make head or tail of those files in LNZ Pro but by making little tweaks in PWS and seeing how those changes appear in LNZ Pro it helped me find my way around. Plus watching a hexing video Croag posted some time ago something clicked in my head and I now don't mind giving hexing a go. I'm a horrible procrastinator though and often don't finish things for a while.

About Me
As my profile name implies my name is Rebecca. In real life I go by Bec, Becca, Rebbs, and Rebecca so feel free to use any of those. I also have the nicknames graciously given to me by my friends and family: Chewbecca, Lady, Woman, and Monkey (where my username is from).
I'm from Ohio and still a student. I have two cats, one dog, and many fish currently. Specifically, I have an orange tabby named Cosmo, a black tabby named Cassie, and a border collie mix (we think) named Sadie. The tetras and cories don't have names currently. I've had other pets in the past, such as hamsters, so I may be a little obsessed with those.
I do have a half sibling and several step siblings. I know my half sibling messed with Petz a bit but I'm not sure if she still plays. I'm trying to drag my friends into Petz though.
Gaming and Other Interests
I got into Petz when I was about 5 years old maybe? I didn't know about PetzA or I didn't understand it, so I always naturally raised my petz and waited for them to have puppies and kittens, the wait was excruciating on little me. Now, I understand what hexies are and how to use PetzA so my 10 or so Petz quickly jumped to 100's of petz. I also play Babyz now (I started playing last year). I'm a fan of all types of games, excluding COD and CSGO like games. I get bored too fast since each match feels the same, and PvP isn't my thing. I do play Destiny though. I use the PS4, Gamecube, PS3, 3DS, and computer for gaming. I love Super Mario Sunshine, Animal Crossing (Goldie is my favorite,), Pokemon (Staraptor is my obsession and Munchlax is another favorite), Little Big Planet, Skyrim, Fallout, The Sims, The Last of Us, any Telltale games (like The Walking Dead), To The Moon, Undertale, and many, many other games.
I'm also obsessed with Youtube. I mainly watch gaming and a few news/pop culture channels. I do watch craft channels as well and I'b completely obsessed with anything miniature. So I love mini clay food and have messed around with that.
Otherwise, I don't have a hobby that seems to be "my calling." I mess around with sewing, doodling, crafting, painting, cooking, baking, Petz stuff, and I can't think of anything else at the moment.
I do love Food Network and watch some HGTV at times as well. Shark Week will always be my favorite though (with Air Jaws as my favorite episode/series).
As for movies, there are too many to list. I love Pixar (especially Up, Cars, and Ratatouille), The Pirates of the Caribbean, DC movies, Marvel anything (I could talk about those comics and movies FOREVER, same with Fables comics), Harry Potter, Star Wars, Star Trek, Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones, Back to the Future, etc, etc, etc. I'm using this word again but I'm also obsessed with Madoka Magica, Kyubey, and Nendoroid, and Figma, all Japanese things (in order that's an anime, a character from said anime, and two types of figures). Finally, when I was little I wanted to own a pet store. Now my interests, and the major I want to go into, would be business or accounting/finance (which I'll probably end up studying the latter). So those are of interest to me.
So yeah, that's me. My intro thread for this forum is a mess so I hope this makes up for it. Feel free to contact me anytime through email or Skype. I'm also on many other sites (like Tumblr, Flight Rising, etc), but it's probably just best to PM me on here first so I'll leave my contact info out (plus it's easy to find my email if you look through my posts or ask someone lol). I wanted to add something else here but I can't remember, hopefully I don't jinx myself or anything making a staff intro post this quick lol. Anyways, hi! I promise I don't bite xD Also all the images I used were made for me and paid by me on DeviantArt, where I archive some of my mini clay food, so instead of crediting each one individually there, my DA user is Monkeygirl103, so you can find me there (and also contact me there, but I'm slower/don't check as often) and on the bottom left all images are credited to the creators.
Edit: If you need to contact me, please just PM me

Hello everyone! My name is Sasha. My petz story: I played petz for years by myself before even finding out about the community. Before I found the RKC I mainly specialized in Siamese catz. I have a 'Sophisto' in Catz and I spent my time in the later games naturally raising and breeding them for mutations. I even had a selective breed project I was very proud of. Rainbow Siamese selectively bred with Carolyn's Blinka file to have the markings but not the persian bits. Boy did I make it myself difficult without inbreeding or petza. xD My Sophisto Lila on the left and a cat from my selective breeding project on the right. His name is Lukas and he was my pride and joy. The added bonus I didn't bargain for is that with the blinka he got persian traits. He eats and flops like one making him really fun to play with. A world opened for me when I discovered the RKC. I discovered high generation mixies and unique hexies, the very first I adopted was Belle: She caused me to fall in love with the calico breed, which is now my absolute favourite! I got a crew which felt truly special and my own, and I even opened my own website, Hemlighet! None of this would have been possible without the amazing petz community and the wonderful friends I've made in it. <3 Outside of petz I love to create characters and write stories! I also love to read, play the harp and speed skate and I'm a huge Eurovision fan. I'm vegan and I have a great love of the sea. <3 I'm also a proud owner of two cats!
