Should I keep on working on him, or give up?

Oh how adorable! Definitely KEEP Going! That face is too cute. I especially love the chest/leg fluff. EDIT: Sorry, I just realized this was spam. Keep calling him to your hand, when he lines up pet him. Then snap pics away. When he does a good pose, give him a treat. He'll start posing more rapidly. Have patience, he'll get there.

Never give up!<3 everyone starts out as a beginner when it comes to posing petz.
First focus on getting leg allignment, once you know what to look for in leg allignment it makes posing so much easier=]. Just try calling him to your cursor (like Aubrey suggested) and once you think he's in the right position (both front and back legs as close together as possible) start taking pictures, haha.
For me it was really just trial and error when I was learning to pose my petz (but I learned with OB breeds, who in my opinion, are a lot easier to handle).

I like the first pose in your post where you also showed a picture of baby Tyler=]. Great allignment! That pose would have been good to enter in shows if only his head was a bit more centered.
You do indeed have to have a prefix, but it can be anything you like, as long as it isn't already taken by someone else. My prefix is Sheba for example^^ haha.

If you want to check prefixes and are a member of PKC, you can search to make sure your desired prefix is not already taken

All petz have potential Sometimes it just takes a patient hand to get the great pose we all want! I think you have the right idea and with a little more work, you will have an amazing pup on your hands. On note to the prefix - It is not required. It is preferred by some judges, but it is not a required thing in a showname. It has become increasingly common over the years, and it is unusual to see petz without a prefix, but some people just have a catch phrase for a showname instead. Some people go as simple as to use their petz name as the start like "JOEY Never Cry Again" with their petz call name as JOEY. Regardless, I noticed a lot more judges are discriminatory against this approach. I do, regardless, recommend a prefix, as it is a telltale sign of whose petz are whose, for future reference and for people interested in inquiring about the pet or offspring. Beautiful pup by the way!

Thanks Ela, my grandma once had a husky elk hound and it was beautiful! So, I was also wondering how I would get a prefix?

Please remember not to double post, edit your previous one instead.
As for picking a prefix, you just pick one. Pick something that means something to you. Mine is Gotham, partially because I was actually named after Catwoman. My sister uses Meepit for hers, as for her..I have no idea why.
Your first picture of the last batch is the best by far. If you could get the noseballs to be straight, that'd be even better, but I'd say you could still show the first one.
And more than likely you could show your rough collie with that picture as well. Again, the noseballs could be straighter, but it's showable I think.

Thanks Selena, I'll remember your advice and I'm hoping to get some wins Thanks everyone sooooooo much! So Im going to put my prefix as ORK (oregon rain kennel) if that's ok. I put the collie and Tyler in a show to see if theyll place or not I hope hes not to bad!

The first dali pose of Joey is very nice. I adore him already XD Your rough collie is pretty good, just take a look at the nose. See how the shines are uneven? Try to get your dog doing that behaviour again, and try to catch the dog when the nose shines are as even as possible ^^
