Heey there :)
Back in the day when I used to play petz I used a Photoshop program to edit all my pics with. I need a program with nice fonts, thats able to make an image's background invisible and do other small edits. Can anyone give me some information on some good programs and maybe a link? It would be much appreciated!
Thank-you for reading, and double thanks if you can give me a hand! :D
edit ; I dont get my laptop until next week so I'll be able to try any programs until then & look a bit for programa on my own aswell. Thank-you!

You should really try GIMP! It's easy, free and there are a lot of people who use it and put up tutorials. =D Here's the download link: www.gimp.org/

I used to have Photoshop, a version I downloaded for free, and I loved it. I think I've tried gimp but I'm not sure if I liked it as much as Photoshop. Thanks though, I'll have to look into it maybe I'll like it more this time around!

you could also try www.pixlr.comI don't think it's near as powerful as gimp but it can do small edits and is generally pretty awesome.

Gimp is great if you have patience to learn it. There are a lot of features to play around with, and a lot of options. Thankfully, for the quantity, there are a lot of tutorials for Gimp users. I assume you meant free, of course, but I found Photoshop programs to be the easiest and most diverse.

There are ways to get it free, both thru schools and I think they actually have a free version? I know students can get the programme, which usually peaks around 1 grand for the whole suite, for like... 75 dollars.
Adobe's touchy about licenses though, and if you reinstall Windows you sometimes have to buy another license even though you already have one :/

I have Paint Shop Pro v.6 and v.8. I paid a pretty proce for them both years ago, and it's basically all I use for site graphics. I use it on Windows XP Home.
However, I recently got a new laptop with Windows 7, and found out PSP will not work well in 7... so I just downloaded GIMP for it, and it works well... but the learning curve will take me some time. It seems to be a very good program for free though.

GIMP is honestly a wonder program lol. It's easy to use, and you can do a lot with it. Paint.net is also a nice program. :3 Both can be downloaded for free. Sometimes I use MS Paint when I'm lazy, but it's not as great at the others
