Anyone who tries on purpose to fail something without a stellar reason in my opinion is shorting themselves opportunity. Fail. But I understand the idea

Fail because if you try to fail and you fail then it's a successful FAIL. If you get what I mean......

This question hurt my brain so I just answered Fail because that word is used more than Succeeded. lolol.. No, but really. I think a negative is a negative. A fail is a fail. My opinion.

I voted succeed. Because I consider it success if you end up doing what you were trying to do.

I voted succeed as well. You may be cheating yourself and not living up to your potential, but if you are trying to fail and you do so, you are accomplishing what you want to do.

Failure; Because if you strive to not accomplish anything, then you are not succeeding. Striving for and "Accomplishing" failure is not an accomplishment or a success, just the mental awareness that you don't care about failure or success. Success is moving forward emotionally, physically, financially, or interpersonally. Failing, even if you try, is not a forward movement in life. It leaves you standing right where you are, or falling backward.
The lack of emotion or concern behind failure vs. success, to me, is a failure in itself since life is built on moving forward, growing, and learning. You learn from failures, but can you truly learn from a failure if you are trying to fail? You have to have some desire for success and knowledge of what the success is in order to learn and grow from the failure... If you put your thought into failing, then how can you learn to be successful in life?
I admit: Striving for failure seems like quite the waste of your time or life. Why intend to fail? There seems to be long lasting benefits to that concept.
