I have a pet peeve of this so I hope I'm not the only one. x3 I tend to ask for file sizes because I don't like adopting anything bigger that 800k in size. It's different with hexed petz though. I don't mind larger file sizes because it just means there's more paintballz and most of the time more work put into it. But for bred petz who have 100 gens and are tree trimmed and a whole bunch of other craziness really turns me off. x3
What about you guys?

I never notice it, really. I just tree trim if it's obscenely large haha.

I tend to get nostalgic so it can be fun looking through the family trees of large-file-sized cats and seeing all the people I remember from back in 2001 and stuff. xD But as I don't have a huge lot of hard drive space, I try to keep the numbers of these down a bit.. like, if I'm debating whether to keep a particular cat or adopt it out, I'm more likely to adopt it out if it has a big file size.

I really never notice it unless it's too big to play with. XD

I notice it when I download them so I immediately trim them when I get into the game. If I breed a pet and I'm sending it and I realize it's taking a while to attach, I cancel it, trim it and then re-attach it. My game can actually lag if the file size isn't trimmed so I'd rather somebody trim it than leave it ~au natural~ and cause my game to lag badly.

I have a few large files but it doesn't bother me as it doesn't seem to affect my game in any noticeable way. I've always thought that if it starts to negatively affect load times then I'd consider trimming but I'd rather leave the file as is if I can.

I never notice it, really. I just tree trim if it's obscenely large haha. This is exactly what I do. Sometimes I'd prefer it if people would trim them down when they're huge and they're sending them out... but if they don't, well it'll just take a little extra time to load when downloading.. and then I can just trim it down myself. :3

I don't really care but if they are a little to big I tree trim them. I don't tree trim when I send out in case someone doesn't want me to do it. But I could see how some people would get a little ticked off

It only bothers me if it makes my game slow down - like if I put them away, the game will hiccup for a few seconds before starting up again. it's a pain in the ass when breeding lol.
I don't trim when I send out because I don't know how other people feel about it - I'll only do it if the pet is like 10 mb. ...Which happens a lot with some of my pets .__.;

I've never adopted a pet with a large file size, so I can't say! All the petz I've bred so far are about 20 or less generations, so they're never too big. I have seen petz with 300 or more generations though.... not sure how I'd feel about that taking up so much computer space...

Yeah, same as Neco. That hiccup is annoying as all get out. >__> Also, this:

My game lags like a mother when I have a huge file size, but after a teensy trim it seems okay! So no bothers.

I personally don't like huge filesizes. It's why this time around, I've decided to do non-inbred. I love looking back through the generations, so I don'T like to tree trim unless absolutely necessary. =D
