English (American & English dialects; very handy, as the two are practically worlds apart), some French and how to say "thank you" & "sorry, he's English" in German, Polish, Italian and Spanish.
In my family, it was always my job to lean over after my father/relative had thoroughly shouted at a shopkeep in English (as somehow they seemed to believe shouting would overcome the language barriers?) and apologise, then thank them. So despite only having visited Tenerife, France and Spain in my life, I kind of swotted up on the two phrases, lol!

I'm fluent in Japanese and English; we speak Japanese at home, because my mother is Japanese. I actually was born there and lived my first few years over there west of Tokyo.
And now I live in Amuurkuh, so I speak English too :3
(Oh.. I studied Latin in high school and college so while no one speaks Latin--it would be bloody difficult-- I'm quite proficient in the art of understanding and translating it. I love etymology, so Latin was the obvious choice for me!)

English is my mother tongue, mais, je parle Français aussi. Writing in French is a whole other story however! I live in Quebec, so I kind of had to learn French haha.

It's so interesting to see that so many people speak multiple languages! Very cool. :)
Also neat to see that I'm not the only one who speaks some Japanese! Wow :o I didn't think many people here would.

I speak English (as if that isn't obvious!), remember a little bit of Spanish from taking a few years in middle school and high school, and I'm learning Italian and Arabic.

HI OLD THREAD.
I picked English and Chinese, although 'Chinese' isn't really a language. I speak Mandarin, the language that is used in most Chinese countries. Cantonese is an angry, lolerrific language mainly kept to the Guandong region (Hong Kong). IT'S OKAY FOR ME TO SAY THAT BECAUSE I AM AZN GUISE. anyway I speak Mandarin because lol I am from Taiwan, you get me. and English because... I... now live in the UK. obvs. C:
