I don't have one, either. I'm just a bit jealous. I'm not sure what parameters people usually use to decide on a species (or combination)... and most of the online tests and such I've seen are total fanservice--like, 90% of the time you get "wolf" or "dragon" no matter what you answer. I do know that a wolf wouldn't suit my personality, so something's off with that.

I do know that a wolf wouldn't suit my personality, so something's off with that. :P Honestly, you could just pick your favorite animal or an animal you identify with. I suppose it's easier for some people more than it is for others, though. For me, it's always a cat. No contest. I'm told by almost everybody I know that I remind them of a cat, so that was a no-brainer. For me, I find it much harder to figure out what exactly it should look like... is it a more abstract representation and therefore not true to actual appearances or does it reflect what I actually look like on the outside as best as it can? :P For Venn, she looks more like an actual representation of myself rather than abstract haha. So no crazy colors or markings.

Mine's a wolf but I didn't choose it. My best friend sort of did. She decided to draw everyone in our little group of friends as an animal one year and mine just kind of stuck.

I have two One is a wolf, yes. The other is an anthropomorphic giraffe/cow hybrid shapeshifter. Usually she imitates wolves or deer.
Yeah..hard to imagine I guess.

Well, I can't really pick my favorite animal, because I have about 30 favorites. That was part of the reason I'd been looking for some kind of litmus test... not to give me more ideas but to help narrow things down.
Plus, just picking an animal I think is cool seems a bit like cheating, IMHO... I'd rather go with something that genuinely suits me... even if it's a rat or skunk or something. Not all fursonas have to be flashy, hey?

You might try constructing one - hybridizing parts of animals into one that suits you. Chimeras like that are pretty common. So are "sparkledogs" (and sparklewhateverelses) where the colors are bright and unnatural. I have a friend with a leopard gecko fursona in raver colors, for example. And I have a friend who's just a plain raccoon. And A jackalope. And all kinds of things. My lynx fursona is winged, for example - feathered wings that graduate into fur and are the same colors as the pelt. The hyena is a typical spotted hyena. And I'm also a werewolf. And a leupak, and that is a purely mythical creature. I know a few dragons, too.

Not to be cliche, but mine will always be a wolf. I have been fascinated with them since the first time I went to yellowstone (8 or 9 I think). Everything about the wolf represents the kind of person I am. So, lack of creativity or not, the wolf is it for me
