Ok, suddenly, today, my game has decided it has an error and keeps turning itself off. I haven't changed anything since yesterday, when I downloaded some playscenes for my game, and it worked fine. Today, I was playing fine for around half an hour, when my game screen suddenly turned white and then turned off. This message came up: I have no idea what's went wrong. I've uninstalled and installed my game, but nothing's changed. Any idea what's happened, or what I can do to get things right again?

what did you do the moment just before that message came?
can be some of your recently installed content/ or a pet .....corrupted.
first would be:
get out every single pet you have in the game start the game again if it runs fine again: put pet per pet in, means one pet in starting blah.......as long as you get the error again the pet that you have in at that moment is causing the error, get rid of that particular pet and all should be back to normal
if your recently downloaded stuff is the problem get everything you downloaded out of the game start it, if it runs fine do the following:
put back in your downloaded stuff, file per file put one file in, start the game, untill the error occurs that particular file you just put is is the problem.....get rid of that and all should be back to normal
well, this is always what I do in that cases........I hope it helps

Thanks, I'll try that. At first I thought it was because I had two Petz 5 files for some reason, but even when I got rid of that the error still occurred. :/.
EDIT: I did what you suggested. I brought out each pet to see which one was causing the error, and now the error isn't coming up anymore, even though I haven't changed anything in my game aside from the skin on the case!?
I'm happy that the error isn't occuring anymore, but it seems really suspicious. So I took out the cat that had been out when every error occurred, and took her to every playscene, and still no error. Hmmm. It seems to good to be true to assume the game's just fixed itself, but there doesn't seem to be any other explanation...

was it a downloaded skin for the case you had in while the error came up?
if the answer is yes, get rid of that. Carry case skins, downloaded ones, can produce errors aswell. But I have seen that happen just a few times. Mainly it a breedz, pets, or downloaded stuff that cause such or similar errors.
good to know your game is working again though ^^

No, it was the original skin! D:.
And I knew it was too good to be true. The error's back again. >__<.
I'm going to start taking things out. I'm thinking it may be the flummery's bunny breed file. :/. Or possibly a cat I just adopted, because it happens a lot when those two are out. Or it might just be the backyard (orginal scene) because it keeps happening there too!

hmm.......that's crap........
just guessing, are you trying to breed something maybe?
because I just solved an issue at AAP what a hexed breed was causing. it was basically the same error message you got, but a different number.....44208.....overthere. I had to fix the particular breedfile overthere to get it to work.....
can you get the just downloaded playscenes out of the game and try again? just a feeling though..........but maybe it works..... just get them out, all of them, start the game
put one after one back in, after you put one in start the game and check
I have never heard anyone got a problem with the bunny file.......so far.

I took everything out and started the game. I adopted a pet, and that was fine. No error. So, I added in the pet that I adopted a few days ago, and that was fine. Then I added one at a time my original petz that had actually been adopted from the game, and they were fine. Then I added the bunny breed to the game, adopted a bunny and quit the game. I opened it back up again, took out the bunny, and the game got the error. *headdesk*.
I think it may have something to do with the bunny being in a zip file, and seeing as I don't have anything that opens zip files, I usually just enter it, copy the contents and paste them in the right file, and usually it works. :/. So I have no idea what's wrong.
Do you by any chance have the flummery's bunny file?
EDIT: It's definitely the bunny file. I've got everything back in game but that file, and it's working fine as far as I can see.
It's kind of a bummer though, because I'd gotten attached the rabbits I'd adopted and the game feels kind of empty without them. :/. I just don't understand why they were working fine yesterday but not today?
Oh well, at least it was none of my special petz. <3. ^__^.

wow, that for sure is a bummer.
I never heard about anyone having trouble with that file.
Maybe you should try go ask the creator of the file what's up with it or what you are doing wrong? Maybe the creator can send you an unzipped version of the file and you could try that?
sorry I don't have that file, I would send you an unzipped version though........but I sadly don't have the file.

Usually when you change the bunny file in P5 something goes wrong. Especially when made breedable :/ Whenever I try to breed bunnies, my game always crashes.
The reason they were working yesterday and not today might have to do with time and aging. I'm not entirely sure tho.

^ uhrm........
<hides in a corner>...........................I have been bad........<slapps self>.......
how do I say this.....
I FIXED THE FILE.
it is now working fine and breedable.........no joke.......I just bred two pairs of bunnies with it, pure bunnies.......
and I did not touch the file data itself, the reason because it was not breedable is it got the same error in the puppy lnz section as the file got on AAP. (which I fixed today too already, LOOOOL)
in other words, the file still is the same........I did change nothing.....except a little fix. hope that was okay?
<continues hiding in that corner>
edit: can anyone tell me how to get in contact with Amber@Flummery? edit 2: I found her email and wrote an email to her about it :-)

Reloaded: Wow! . Do you think after you've contacted Amber@Flummery, and if she's okay with everything, that you could send me that file? If not, it's ok, I was just wondering. ^__^. Pizzey: But I didn't try to breed my bunnies? :S. They were only 15 on the brain sliders, so...? *shrugs* Or do you mean because they were supposed to be able to breed, but weren't, that caused the game to crash?

Was it the Cybunny or a normal bunny?
But in the beginning I got some kind of message too. It came with a downloaded pet. The problem was that I forgot to put the bmp file in the dogz map too. So, the downloated pet looked different than normal and made the game crash.

^ common problem aswell, yes
nah it was the flummery bunny this time. and a different problem. but what happened to you is a very common problem aswell and in many situations a good solution (to put the bitmap in the resource folder aswell).
Rhubarb,
I am hoping that the fixed version of the file will be up for download on Flummery. So everyone can download it from the correct place. That would be the best solution for every bunny file lover out there.

I dunno, whenever I try to mess with more than the lnz file, things always mess up :/ For example, I tried copying the lnz from the OB Bunny into the Chinchilla file. It came out of the adoption center and worked fine. But when I bred it with a normal cat, it crashed :c

nah, was not your fault ^
you did good by trying that :-)
If you had known that the error was inside the puppy lnz section and that copying it into another breed just made the error copy too..........what you could not know.......I am sure you had made a different try. So please don't think bad about yourself. You just tried what everyone else would do at first. Actually this was what I tried at first too, with the exact same result........so don't feel bad, okay?
