I didn't even know there were other versions than english... I bought the game at a local shop here in Germany and only the manual was translated. It never bothered me, though... there isn't really a lot of text in the game, right?

Nope, but it's not the text that's the problem. If you adopt a 'dutch' dog out to someone with the original (english) game, the game can either crash or the file gets corrupted. And if you download hexed toys/breeds/clothes/playscenes/etc, most of the stuff won't show up in-game. That's one of the reasons I switched to the english version. :3

I would like to, but they don‘t sell here anymore. And I don‘t want to download the game to get the English one. You never know if there is anything in it which is bad for the computer.
I don‘t like to download. I guess I‘m to afraid to do anything wrong. It would be nice to have other pets in the game. A few days ago I found a flame coon & a Raspberry coon. They looked very cute. But I‘m also satisfied without those downloads
