I haven't got one personally, but the ex-boyfriend has a Slipknot S tattooed on his arm, and I recently designed him another tattoo that he's getting when he has money... and finds someone who can do it. xDD i285.photobucket.com/albums/ll47/xxbedlampxx/Stuff/dwagon.png < that's the design, lulz. Obviously it'll have to be simplified.

i've finally decided on what i want. i think i'm gonna get a small one on my waist that says once, but i'm definitely getting one on the back of my neck that says "everything is" in cursive. i don't even have it and it's already special, haha <3

I'd love a moon and star on the inside of my wrist. I'd never get it done as I try to avoid any pain as much as possible. I already have drawn the design there multiple times and it looks really nice. I'd also love to see everyone's tattoos

I have two tattoos, and plan to get more (yes, they are addictive). Both tats are on my upper arms, where they can be easily hidden by short sleeves. The first tattoo I got about 7 years ago was a blue dragon, on my left arm. I chose a small design for my first, I wanted to see how my body handled it, make sure I wouldn't end up having a reaction to the ink or something. Luckily, my skin takes ink really well. This tattoo only took about 45 minutes. The picture is not great, but you get the idea. Taking pictures of your own upper arm is really quite difficult. The second tattoo I got a week after my dad passed away (brain cancer) about 6 years ago, it's a memorial tattoo on my right arm. The idea that I originally had for this tattoo was very different, but when I saw this wolf design, I somehow felt it was the right one. The wolf symbolizes family unity, and the wolf's eyes are light blue, like my father's were. Getting this tattoo was a big part of my bereavement process, and I felt better after getting it, like a weight was lifted off my chest. This took a bit more than three hours to get. It was worth every minute spent under the needle, and every penny I paid for it. Getting these tattoos didn't really hurt much at all, and I barely bled, but I think it highly depends on where you get them. Bony or nerve ending rich areas are likely to hurt more. I'd liken the feeling to a long cat scratch. Personally, I think the pain associated with getting a tattoo is sort of a right of passage. It's like you should have to really want the tattoo enough to take what comes with it. If it where easy, everybody would be covered in them.

I'd love a wolf print somewhere on my body, orrr maybe a trail of prints down my arm from my shoulder to my wrist, or across my back.
I really want some Celtic knotwork too, but I have to research that more... I want to actually KNOW the meaning of what I'm getting, unlike a lot of people I've met who have random Japanese/Chinese characters that have no idea what they mean ._.

^ my friend Dale has one that supposedly means "happiness & wealth", but I doubt it... it could just as easily say "super hot noodles" because he didn't research the characters before he got it. xDD

Yay! I love to see peoples tattoos! I has some! (left)Baby Billy's Nautical Star - This tattoo was my very first. I had planned/drew out this tattoo when I was 16 - of course the Tattoo artist cleaned it up a bit. This tattoo - means the most to me. Each part of this tattoo - has meaning, just about. For those of you who don't know me very well. I once had a brother, one I never got the chance to meet. He passed away Of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (S.I.D.S.) before I was born. He would be 22 right now, a big brother. This tattoo depicts the void I feel in my life, not having a big brother. The blue - stands for "a baby boy!", and the black stands for death. It's on my lower back, right above my bum. Easily hidden - is KEY for me. lol Mother/Grandmother hate tattoos. (right) I got this tattoo about oh.. say 4 weeks after my first one healed. They are wicked addicting. This shamrock is for my heritage - well half of it.. and for luck of course it's on my right foot. right under were a sandle's strap would sit. My best friend paid for it - and so I owe her one.. lol she wants the same thing. not too pricey for this little guy, its a little bigger than a quarter. Surprisingly didn't hurt for at all.. even though it was right on top of a very bony/veiny foot.. lol I almost fell asleep to be honest. Then again, i'm not really phased by pain. (doctor's needles are a different story. lol) I got this on my trip to florida in 08. kinda was a spur of the moment thing. I basically saw some girl at the beach with a buncha stars and cool loooking design going up her foot, and LOVED it. So since my sister wanted a tattoo.. i figured what the heck, im here.. why not. I havn't decided yet if I am going to add to them or not, maybe later on down the line. but who knows. And my most recent. I got this one in March of this year, after Ricky's birthday. It's really bad quality picture, and for that im sorry. I took this picture the day after I got it.. so it's all yuckie and scabby looking. This is an ambigram. (sp?) basically it's a design that reads a word one way - and then if you flip it over then it can read out a totally different world. So i saved you the trouble up turning your computer upside down.. or yourself trying to read it the other way. As it says one way says Faith, and the other says Trust. I got this basically because I originally wanted a tattoo that had to do with Ricky.. but I don't wanna put his name on my body - just yet. So since he got his tattoo that I drew for him awhile back.. (a cross, with a banner that wraps around 3 times, and says love / trust / faith ) I decided I'd get some of those same words. Eventually all of them, on me as well. So this tattoo knocked out 2 of those, Love will probably go on the back of my neck as a Chinese symbol, maybe next year. (if i can wait that long.. lol) This tat is on my left leg right above my ankle bone. facing inward. Hope you've enjoyed learning a bit about me lol <3

I don't have a tattoo, and I'm not sure if i'd ever really get one, but if I did it would have to be super significant to me.
The only idea I have for if I everrrr get one would be a peace sign, with a little heart on the inside bottom of it. I would want it on my foot to kind of represent spreading peace and love with every step :3 (/ cheesy ahhaa)

I don't have a tattoo.. since I'm like 14.. haha. But when i get older, all I want is little stars on my hand, between the thumb and pointer finger, but closer towards the thumb. I couldn't find a decent picture of a hand to show you. Oh, and it's on my right. Maybe a peace sign on my ankle, but nothing huge. But I will probably cry, since I'm a total wimp xD

I've never really considered the idea of tatoos before. My parents would always say how bad and pointless/paintful they were. However, I look at some of these, and know the significance in my friend's dad's tatoos, and I've found them really interesting. There have also been characters in books I've read with tatoos with significant meanings, and that made me think about them a little bit, too. I don't know how well I'd take the pain if I ever decided to get one, though. I'm pretty good with pain, but I hate to have to be in pain. If I ever get one, though, there will be some sort of significant meaning in it that I know will be with me forever. I know how people will say they regret some of their tatoos, and I guess they're even more painful to remove or something. Soo.. yeah. Maybe someday. But right now I'm not at the point where I really want one, and want something specific. :3 edit -- OH!! But I have thought about this.. =3

Originally my sister's boyfriend was going to ink me when I turned 13. My mom wanted to have all of get our middle name, Cherie, on the sides of our feet. I would of really liked that but my mother moved away and my family is anti-tattoo aha. :c
I want one across my wrist of writing or something. My sister has "Pain breeds strength, trust your struggle." with loads of pretty stars and designs on her side, stars on her hip, & Cherie on her foot (She went ahead and did it.).
I love tattoos. Small ones, though. c:
