I've eaten liver, oyster, marrow, brain and frogs legs :3 I would probably try any of them.. except blood sausage. Yeugh. I'd have to pass on that one. Liver I've had fairly often, it's not bad. Kind of yummy actually, when it's in liverwurst. Oysters, I've had deep fried... not a fan. Marrow I've had from inside bones, it's not my favorite but it's okay. Brain I've had in head cheese, which I actually am a huge fan of.. never had it in anything else. Frogs legs I had at a chinese buffet, they were kind of nasty.. like a cross between chicken and fish. The things I know I would never and could never eat, are any kind of insect, or heart.. And I could never eat horsemeat... I love horses too much Oh, and snake.. couldn't do that either. I love snakes.

I'm pretty open minded about food, but I don't want to eat tongue, tripe or blood sausage. For blood sausage, it's kind of funny. I don't like to see blood or blood vessels in my meat, though my mouth waters at the sight of a running gash on my arm. I guess I'll only eat my own blood. Tripe and tongue, I don't really like my food realting to the food of my food. I know, I probably eat my share of digestive delights in hot-dogs, but I can think about it less in that case.

Hehe, just because I want to and I feel like writing a bunch tonight, I'll go through every one and say why I would or would not eat it ;]. Caviar: In the words of Lance the Lifeguard on Suite Life "Unborn baby fish! Why don't you just feed me puppies?!" I just don't like the idea =/. Oyster: Talking about the sea creature, right? If so, yeah, I'd be willing to try it. Tongue: Hmm... Tasting a tongue on my tongue... No thanks... Liver: I'll pass, but I don't really know why... It just doesn't appeal to me. Brain: I can't stand the thought of eating another creatures brain! I am not a zombie!! Marrow: I've tasted marrow in chicken legs and it doesn't taste very good =/. Plus there was one episiode of House where the marrow... well, I'll just say taht I don't want it in my blood stream... Tripes: I had to google this--No. It just sounds gross =/. Escargots (snails): Snails are slimy and too cute to eat. Frog legs: My mom ate these once and I would be willing to. It actually doesn't sound that bad. Blood sausage: No way. Not in a million years. But if I did live a million years I might have turned into a vampire, in which case this wouldn't be too bad XD.

I adore oysters. People go "ew slimy!" when they see them raw, but cooked they're a bit like mussells. Yum. I love scallops and prawns and things too. Fisheh I hate any kind of 'specialist' meat though. I'm picky with meat as it is, so the thought of eating things like tripe (WHICH IS COW STOMACH OMG EW), snails or scabs (sorry I mean blood sausage/black pudding) turns my stomach. I know some people like them, which is fine, but it angers me more when people eat cruelty foods like Foie Gras and Veal. It's a little disconcerting knowing that people will still eat something that suffered immensely in life.

No no no no! Ew!
I am so picky and refuse to try new things with out a lot of coaxing. I MIGHT eat oysters if they are cooked.. I do like most shell fish.

I am such a picky eater. Honestly, the only thing I WOULD try is frog legs. Thats really it, I mean I dont think I want to eat brains.

Erm, I voted that I wouldn't eat any of them except for Caviar, oyster, and escargot (snails). Basically, Caviar doesn't sound quite as repulsive as the rest, I've had oysters before (not the Rocky Mountain Oysters though....just regular oysters... ), and I've sadly had A snail before. Not multiple, just one. It was a little on the disgusting side, but really only because I kept thinking about what I was eating, and I kept picturing the garden snails at my house. If you just focused on the taste, it wasn't horrible. I wouldn't eat it again out of my own free will, but given the choice between that and some of the other things on that list (brains? TONGUE!?), I'd rather eat a snail. >_<

Bah! >.< I'm picky. The only ones I *would* eat are oysters and liver. All the others make my stomach churn just thinking of it.
And not Rocky Mountain oysters, either... my boyfriend's dad tricked him into eating a whole plate of them when he was a like 8. He had no idea what they were. Apparently, they're delicious but.... omg. Noes.

Well, considering the seafood/fishy stuff would more than likely kill me, and the thought of the texture of those other foods is making me gag just thinking about it, I'm going to go with marrow being the one I have to force down

I actually had a bite of (prepared!) liver, and honestly I don't like it. It's dry and (to me) tastes awefull!
Other then that, nothing on that list I'd ever wanna try really I don't.

The other night Jono took me to this super posh restaurant and I ordered beef off the menu, but they gave me a slice of foie gras with it as well. I was like ' what the hell is that' (because I've never seen it before, havn't wanted to try it for clear reasons) and tried a tiny bit, thinking it was like...a vegetable of some sort? UHHHH IT WAS LIKE FISHY LARD

i would never eat brain... um, eww! besides, isn't brain like, really bad for you? i cant remember who or when this was, but there were these guys trapped somewhere in antartica, and they had like 50 sled dogs with them, so they killed them off one by one and ate them x___X... and when they finally got home, they had developed some serious mental diseases from eating their brains...
i will not and cannot eat blood sausage....
and i will never eat dog or horse.

That's a very very very different situation than it is normally. In a lot of places, there are vendors with various meat products and often, there is brain in it. For the most part, it's perfectly safe, just like any other meat.
and chances are good, unless you asked, you wouldn't know it was brain. It looks just like "normal" meat when all cooked up and chopped.
