I chose "Other". I have a Canadian accent.
To be more specific: I have an English Canadian accent, with a heavy Northern Canadian accent laid on top (southern Canadian tend to have a bit of an Americanized accent laid on their's, whereas northern has more of a native feel to it). Of course, there are variations of "English Canadian", but in the general sense, that is what i am.
I say "Eh?" a lot...

What American accent do you have? Your Result: North Central "North Central" is what professional linguists call the Minnesota accent. If you saw "Fargo" you probably didn't think the characters sounded very out of the ordinary. Outsiders probably mistake you for a Canadian a lot. Result Breakdown: 86% North Central 55% The Midland 53% The West 44% The Inland North 38% Boston 23% The South 13% Philadelphia 9% The Northeast Quiz URL: www.gotoquiz.com/what_american_accent_do_you_haveI guess I'm kinda a mix, but I'd place myself more in the "it's really hard to tell where I'm from in the USA" accent. I definitely don't have a southern accent or surfer or anything like that. And I say soda, but I used to say pop until I was like 16...

What American accent do you have?Your Result: The Midland"You have a Midland accent" is just another way of saying "you don't have an accent." You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio. Result Breakdown:77% The Midland 69% Boston 64% The Northeast 63% The West 62% The Inland North 58% Philadelphia 43% North Central 42% The South Quiz Created on GoTo QuizWell, I was born in Virginia, but moved to Maryland when I was 5...then to Boston when I was 6. I don't hear an accent and most others don't. Though, some say I have a very slight Boston accent. =P

I chose British. I was born in America with a typical southerner American accent but changed my accent to be British after discovering my British roots from Ancestry, and I think it fits me better

My accent is pretty standard English with occasional Norfolk twangs thanks to my mum (I don't live in Norfolk though), and some people say it makes me sound Australian sometimes. I definitely don't though

Australian, but a few times I've been told I sound kinda British? Idk It's probably because I don't like sounding really "aussie" (no offense to any fellow aussies here but I really don't like strong Australian accents)
On another note - anyone else here have an accent that ~slightly~ changes depending on who you're talking to? Just me? (It's not something I mean to do ^^")

When I heard your voice Smokey it totally sounded like regular Australian to me, but I've not heard too many Australians irl. Nothing too strong though!

smonikkims & yours sounded English to me! I guess if you're around people with similar accents you're more likely to pick up on little differences.

Just an American passing through lol More specifically, I'm from the Southeast Coast (Georgia to be more specific), so I've got the typical Southern American accent.

Technically Canadian, but I picked American cuz they're close enough. It's sort of like New Zealand and Australia though
