I freaking love guinea pigs. SO much. I need to get one soon! I used to have an albino abyssinian guinea pig named Lucifee. He was going to be president.
I really want a rat but my husband doesn't. Sooo...I'm SOL on that. Until I can work my magic on him. That takes time though.

At work we have stick bugs. I love my little bugs and I care for them just like my co-worker cares for her guinea pigs. I have about 5 stick bugs right now... I claim they are all boys, even though they are all asexual. And they are all descendants of my first stick bug,,, my baby,,,, Slim <3

Just be sure to get two (same gender so there is no accidental babies, or neutered/spayed can of course live together) when you do manage to convince your hubby. ^_^ They are very social beings and they benefit in countless ways from having a fellow rat buddy. =D I find this website helpful as it has several informative pages about lots of rat care topics (including examples of how they benefit from having a buddy). www.fancy-rats.co.uk/information/Only thing that makes me sad about rats is their super short life spans. <_>; 1 to 2 years on average is not enough time for me. =/ Even my rats who've surpassed the 4 year mark it still doesn't seem long enough at all. ={

I've never had as pets though I almost bought one of those starter kits a few years back. I ticked hamsters, rabbits and guinea pigs. I've owned one hamster and one rabbit in the past. I love hedgehogs. We used to have a regular one visit the garden; surprisingly noisy little things; but I'm not sure I'd want one as a pet. I'd love to have a couple of guinea pigs. Our last place was too small for a c&c cage. This place does have a couple of places I could put one but our landlord was reluctant to let us have the place with our two cats as he had problems with the last tenant so I don't want to put him off at our six month check up by filling the place up with more animals.

I had to go for rabbit. Otherwise it would be like cheating on my housebunny hurhurr. I love rabbits because they love cuddles... well.. mine does.... whereas my hamster just used to scrabble all over my arms and then proceed to poop in my hand hahah. I mean she was a right cutie but no thing holds a more special place in my heart than my rabbit. Wow I sound deranged and creepy. I SWEAR I'M NOT D:

GUINEA-PIGS!!!!! Obviously... They're so strange and quirky and the most ridiculous little things but I love 'em! ;D I also adore my girlfriends... *counts* 13 ferrets. All but little Jasmine I trust she's the tiniest and likes biting! My girlfriend's tamed the wildest and biggest beasty she's had but can she tame Little Miss Kinka-Tot (her nickname because she has a kink in her tail )?? Nope! That ferret is as stubborn as anything! She's the reason they were given the name "carpet sharks"... honestly! My girlfriend also has degus, mice and gerbils which I've never owned before (I didn't even know what a degu was before she got one!) but are equally adorable. I do love rats as well, any rat really but I did love my boy Edward who was a Siamese Dumbo. He was ginger when I got him as a kit and he turned into the most handsome young man. It's sad that how much I love them, I've kinda sworn to not get into having anymore for a while because they have such short lifespans, 90% of them end up with awful illnesses and die as a result. Its way too painful but they're still beautiful little creatures Now, I should say rabbits as well because I have one but they're not my "favourite", but my boy Clymo's lovely, although stroppy at times lol he's like my 9 year old furry son ;D
