How do I make images show up on the forum?
1) Copy the URL for your image from your image hosting site, such as imgBB or imgur (see below), usually ending with .gif, .jpeg, or .png.
2) Click the "Insert Image" button located at the top right of your post's toolbar (^ it's the 7th icon counting from the right. It looks like a little photograph or painting). This will pop up a dialog box on your screen.
3) Paste the URL to your image from ImageShack in the "Image URL" field on the dialog box.
4) Click OK and your image should appear in your post. If it doesn't, maybe you made a mistake copying the URL to the clipboard?
It's that easy!
How can I upload images? What hosting sites are available?

What image types are allowed on the forum?
.bmp images (the default image type that Petz uses) are not allowed to be used on this forum in any way, shape, or form. The reason is because they are 10x larger than the other file types, and are nigh on impossible for some people to load when looking at a web page. The most commonly used types are .jpeg, .png, and .gif images.
.jpeg - The worst for Petz pictures - many shows will not allow you to use them because they makes images slightly blurry. A lot of image hosting sites will automatically convert .bmp images to .jpeg, so beware.
.gif - The most common image type, you can use Petza to have Petz take your pictures automatically as .gifs. These are the best balance of image size and image quality and are perfect for Petz pictures.
.png - This type tends to be much larger than the other image types, but are also the highest quality. You generally use this type for show-off images, collages, home-made graphics like banners, etc. -- mostly when a graphic needs more than the 256 colors the GIF format allows.

You can download an install IrfanView, which is a free image viewer and converter that is very easy to use.
Once installed, you can either use the "Save As" option in the "File" menu, and then and select GIF format to convert your picture, or use the batch conversion option in order to convert a whole bunch of images at once.
