Ok so, ive recently made myself a freewebs account to make a new crew site for some of my dogz and as I'm a beginner with freewebs (Ive always used piczo in the past) Im asking the experts for help. Ive gone to edit my site and I'm just a bit puzzled as to what to from here. heres a print screen to show what I mean: Am I right in assuming that the first highlighted red circle is what I am on at the moment and index, the other circled box is my home page. That would make sense lol ... so then what are the other parts, eg. images, media, etc - is that images I have (when i do) uploaded? and if so how do i get them on my pages. When I go to the edit icon next to index, it is blank but typable. Is this where I will copy and paste Html codes and what not or is it where i put uploaded images. Im a bit confused as to how I design my layout, etc. From working with piczo and RKC, etc i do understand html codes but is this what I put on the blank screen. Thanks for any help you can give me!

When I had freewebs, it worked fine except for the advertisements. All I ever did was upload images and whatever I needed to, to that first section you are on. Most of my images are linked from Photobucket though. Then, when you hit the edit button, that's where you put all your html code and things, it's basically like Notepad, with some extras, and when you are done it's already uploaded. But I personally like to work on my html files in Notepad and then just upload them when they are finished. Your index.html is your first page, like "home", to create other pages, simply "add a page" and name it "crew.html" or whatever you want it to be.

I think I understand. So say on notepad I could put the codes for my layout and simply copy and paste it into that blank page bit. I tried typing something ramdon into the blank page bit n it actually showed up. I did'nt put any brackets or html code things round it yet those words actually apeared on that page when I clicked on it. lol

Yeah, it's a little more leniant than truly empty html pages. The way I do it I have all my html pages saved on my computer, and I just edit those then delete the old ones on there and upload the edited ones whenever I decide to do an update, that way I can fix small things when I remember to, and don't have to log in and just change one little thing all the time.
