First average-length race ever! I might even make awards.
Come one, come all, to the racetrack! Watch the dogs speed down the track, eyes on the prize, intent on winning. Dogz Racing is still relatively new, but every here and there you'll find racing dogz for sale or races going up. I had the idea for dogz racing a little while ago when I started getting bored with Petz. Dogz Racing is all held in the Petz game. There's no messing around with pictures, it all comes down to the fastest dog. All the entrants in the race are placed at one end of the screen. The cursor (hand) is positioned at the other end of the screen. The hand whistles, calling the dogs towards it. A line is drawn in the playscene, the 'finish line'. The first dog to cross that line wins.
There are different length races. In some races, the dogs have to turn and run around the screen several times before the race is over. Sprint races only ask the dog to run straight, and only once around the track. Average-length races require the dog to run from the starting line to the finish line, turn, run back to the starting line, and then turn again and run to the finish line.
Average length races require a lot of training and balance from the dog, as quite often they will trip and fall around the turns. If a dog falls, the race will still continue, and, on almost every occasion, the dog will end up being disqualified if they fall, because they cannot complete the race. Therefore, make sure you run your dogs in a few practice average-length races before you enter, to make sure that they can make it.
This race will be asprint average length race. Please note that you will actually have to email your dog's file to me. I would never steal a pet file, or use it without your permission, but if you are nervous about sending it to me, I advise you not to enter. I will only be racing 3 dogz in this race, one per person.
This race will be held as soon as I have enough entries and all the dogz have been sent to me. Please note that it may be up to 5 days before the results are posted, even after I have received all the dogs.
If you enter, you have a choice of one of two options for getting your dogz back. Either I can email the dog back to you after the race, or I can simply delete the dog from my computer, and you can keep your previous file. The dog would not have changed much from when you sent it, so the easier option would be just for me to delete it. But I'm happy to send the dog back if you would prefer.
