OH!!! I just realized that it is THAT Russel!!! It's Elixir's son!!!!!!!!! Thanks so much Mikoli <3 We're going to sit it out for a few races. (though, when we come back, I do hope to try her out in an average or long distance length race...I know for a fact that she would do great in a long distance...we've been practicing >.>) Cool. (: I'm planning to run the next couple as average-length races, then I might try a long distance. It's going to be hard to run one, to say in the least, since there'll be at least 5 lovely turn for the dogs to trip and fall over each other and confuse the heck out of me. xD I will practice myself!

hehehe, ever since Elixir's 'wipe out' in that one race we have been working hard on balance and turning. Though I can imaine how hard it would be with 3 dogs since you have to get them all to turn at the same place (i.e. If one dog is all the way across and one is halfway and you switch directions, the dog half way could cheat and just turn around right there). Good luck <3

Elmer didn't have much training, as he was just running with my racing dogz (practicing with Cable & Da-Xia) but he seemed better as listening than Da-Xia so I entered him instead as a spur of the moment decision. He seems to have done fairly well, so I'm happy, heh. I'll work with him more.
I'm a bit confused as how to train Cable with the basics so he can listen and respond better. Would that be just having him follow the hand around a lot and come when called and continuously be praised when he does so?

Plus practice your turning, starting quickly, and see how fast you can get him going down the screen.
