I put English up as a second language type thing, as I think a lot of us DO come from primarily English speaking countries, hah.
...Though sometimes I wonder about myself cause I can somehow screw English up pretty damn good, hahahahahaha. My typos are amazing.

I'm a Japanese learner. I'm originally English by language and I'm learning a bit by watching anime and studying.

I took French all through elementary and high school so I'm quite fluent in it. My grammar and stuff is probably atrocious, though. D:

French is my 1st language, and I speak it at home- so I'd have to say French.

First language is Russian. I'm still fully fluent in all r/w/s, but since I've been here 10 years now, my English has long since surpassed it. Third is Latin (took it up to 2nd year university, miss it very much ). I can say some very basic things in French and Japanese (courses in highschool), and can get through Ancient Greek with a dictionary and lots of time XD. And I'm going to start learning Italian over winter break.

Another sleepless bump..
Nearly fluent in Norwegian - planning to stop by for a visit before the year's up - and Spanish. I know enough German to make a fool out of myself, and I'm working on Russian, Icelandic, and Slovenian. For those who consider English difficult to learn.. try Icelandic. GAAH

I can understand, and read French... but my speech problems make it impossible to get NEAR a proper accent, and the stutter makes it difficult to understand. I can't write it, either - darn dyslexia.
Anyway... I can also say "thank you" in five languages (German, Italian, Spanish, Japanese and I used to know how to say it in Gaelic). I can say "cute", "hello", "sorry", and "idiot" in Japanese, too.
Generally that's actually enough to get by. My aunt just says "thanks" when we're in foreign countries, and it's my job to roll my eyes, lean over and say it in the language the people understand, haha.

I chose other.. Cause I can speak Cat! Honestly, I can say a few words in a couple different languages but because of my disability, it makes it very hard to learn other languages.

I speak fluent English and Hmong. I'm also so-so at Japanese, if that counts at all.

I took three years of spanish in high school. The vocab was always really easy for me, but one we started learning all the complicated conjugations, they lost me.

English Technically is my second language, though all of my documents state it's my first. Polish would be my second. I barely speak it, though I can understand almost all of it. Except slang. Usually I just figure it out by seeing what words are paired up together. I wouldn't survive in an urban Polish setting though. Don't know enough slang. Though Polish is very similar to other European languages so I can understand a lot of them. And it's similar to French in terms of conjugation which is similar to Spanish sooo, haha. I understand German/can speak a bit of it. Mostly simple sentences, solely from music. It's really simple, but my voice is soft, not harsh, haha.
