Oh wow! This would actually be fun to have different Toy Closet rooms between my P3 and P4 games!! Actually, it could be fun to completely change all the original scenes for one version, so it would be like living in two different houses between games!! I'm gonna have to get some more scenes here! Thank you! <3

You're welcome!
I think the ability to duplicate toy/clothes closets is being explored right now by some of the knowledgeable folks in the community. I know I would love to have a variety of closets in Petz 3 and 4 as well as any closet at all in Petz 5!

Greetings,
Please enjoy the "Rainy Day Cottage" playscene for Petz 3-5. Click the snow globe on the hutch to trigger animated rain in the window. Special thanks to Moonflower for allowing the use of her storm sound files!
The Beach House features functioning cabinets for Petz 3-5 and ocean sounds from the open window in Petz 3 and 4. (The original Petz 5 kitchen has some bugs that prevent these sounds from playing).
Have fun and please let me know if you run into any issues.

Ahhh this made me so excited!! I LOVE rain, and anything rainy (I downloaded Alena's stormy room too xDD) especially since I get SO little rain in real life, and I wish I could have more...and as always, I love your scenes, so I'm gonna go grab these as well! Can I just say that I'm absolutely in LOVE with the Petzy touches? Things like that really make playscenes especially good to me! Seeing familiar scenes out the window make them feel new somehow, seeing recolored objects you recognize (like the rugs), or even extra touches like how you used the pillows in the Beach House!! I love it all so much!! These are fabulous, and thank you again so much for sharing!

Thank you so much for the compliments and feedback, I really appreciate it! ^_^
I like trying to make my scenes feel like the original game, and I struggle with creating certain things from scratch, so it really is a win win to be able to piece together original playscene items. (I have very little natural artistic ability, I make what I make for petz with a lot of practice and trial and error - and that's just the honest truth.)
Anyhoo, it's very flattering and rewarding to see folks enjoying these scenes. It motivates me to do more!

I love your playscenes, especially the beach house!
If you ever feel inclined to share tutorials and tips, I'd love to hear them! Do you usually source graphics like furniture from somewhere or do you make them yourself? Because either, way, these are incredible and I wish I had the ability to make custom playscenes haha. I've been trying (and failing) to make a custom bedroom scene for my pets and my results are hilariously bad, so what your doing looks like straight up witchcraft to me xD
All this incoherent rambling to say: you're really good at this!

I love these new playscenes, thank you! And also thank you for having P3 versions of many of them--P3 is actually my favorite game, and the main reason I use 4 as well is because most of the hexed content is for 4, but thanks to you I have lots of great stuff in my P3 game too!

edit: ;u; I think the beach room might be my new favorite room

I do have a few more new items up for download since my last post, so pop on by to collect some more new things. ^_^
lobb - I'm sure your scenes are better than you are giving yourself credit for. The amount of creating and recreating and scrapping and frustration that happens behind the scenes when I'm making things is usually pretty extensive.
Typically, I try to make toys and playscenes from scratch and/or by piecing together existing PF Magic playscene elements. Older scenes will use some pasted in furniture, but I've tried to get away from that since it looks less "petzy." Sometimes I need some extra help making things look correct so I will paste in a piece of furniture and then draw over it with the pen tool to recreate it in a series of editable shapes. Once I have the drawn one complete, I remove the pasted in version. I did the wing chair that you see in the library and the gothic room this way. (I really can't draw and I have bad eyesight that hinders my depth perception, so perspective can be rather difficult for me sometimes). Chairs like the one in the remodeled toy closet and aframe loft scene were created from scratch with the shape tool and layer effects.
I am always very, very happy to assist people with their hexing endeavors at any stage in the journey. If you would like to chat more about creating playscenes and the like, please send me a message!
Thank you all again for the compliments!

ECRose no worries about not replying earlier! Thank you so much for your advice, that's incredibly helpful. I think your art skills might be a lot better than you think! I'm DEFINITELY not good at art and my eyesight isn't great either so this gives me hope that I might be able to make something halfway decent. The idea of using the pen tool is really smart. I'll definitely hit you up if I'm in need more tips or advice

So I woke up at 5 am this morning with a thought on my mind: "I want to hex curtains that use that cactus playpen wallpaper as the pattern." My mental health quirks are your gain. The Desert Room is available for Petz 3-5. Click on the potted cactus to toggle between day and night.
Let me know if you run into any troubles!
Also - my kitchen based playscenes have been updated thanks to Melissa at Unique Petz! Please download the Babyz Kitchen, Recolored Petz 5 Kitchen, Beach House, and Laundry Room again if you are a P4 or 5 user and don't want cockroaches in your playscene!
Have fun! ~ECRose

Oof...the only way I'm using these playscenes is if I imagine I have an AC running full blast. x'DDD It's been so hot for me lately, these almost make me uncomfortable!! But they're too fabulous not to use! I LOVE the view, and I haven't seen those travel images used like this before!! And the Playpen wallpaper being used as curtains...genius!! This is amazing!! EDIT: I forgot to add, I also do love the ability to shift between night and day!! When I get a chance to play with my Petz, it's usually dark...and it feels weird playing with them in sunny scenes when it's so late at night. And on the other hand, playing with them in night scenes ALL the time JUST because it's night for me gets a little old sometimes...I do actually use these features, and really love and appreciate them!! So thank you for including that as well!
