Title: The Old Willow Tree
Carry me, to the sad old willow, who shades me, in times of need. The bark is worn down, because of her age. I tend to this old woman, so she can be green again.

;"~<--- Night Forest --->~"; Darkness over shadows the forest like a blanket The moon stares down at you, like a curious child tall oak trees whisper ghostly secrets leaves move from side to side during their midnight dance the wind howls like starving wolves chilled breezes push and shove you with all their force
Then, you see it fur as dark as night time it self, eyes as bright as blood red stars A flicker of a bushy tail and a snarl from pearly white teeth it sends a chill down your spine You take a step back, then one forward
This is it Morning or night Life or death A tough decision that you decide in a second Suddenly, you feel it The velvety soft fur the leathery black nose The wolf, your Desire
Desire to be alive Desire to be away from this place Desire to see the ones you love Desire to feel your heart beat next to your lover's Desire to see your children once again Desire to be home.
In that instant you are no longer in the forest You feel your blankets wrapped around you tightly and a soft pillow under your head. Was this a dream?
As you look out the window you see blood red eyes looking at you. You lie down, and fall asleep Happy to be home once again
I needed to get the project done, it was dark, and I had an odd craving to talk about wolves xD

This is actually a poem I wrote last year when I was still in high school, but I assume I can still enter it?
The Pomegranate Crimson, waxy, spherical shell Gashed by the metallic blade Icy, burgundy blood Stains the white, porcelain surface Halves are grasped and pried open Exposing the garnet red gems A sweet bubble of violet juices Surrounds their stone skeletons The bitter, yellow papery walls Cling feebly to their treasure As each glassy bead is plucked Delicately from its nest
Inspiration: Well, the assignment was to write a poem inspired by another poem written by Eavan Boland, which was also called The Pomegranate, and was based on the story of Persephone and the three pomegranate seeds. So, I wrote about the sensation of cutting open a pomegranate =)

Title: Invidia
Digging a hole even deeper in my chest, Filled even deeper with a gangreene infest. The darkest pit I'll ever know, Invidia in me will always grow.
Leviathan! He twists impossibly in my eyes, He invades my darkest secrets despite my cries. Surely my eyes must reflect the tint of green, Such Invidia cannot go completely unseen.
Black adders on the menu, I don't lack, Poison to swallow, they turn my tongue black. But still my skin, green it turns, As Invidia rubs salt on my burns.
And when my time at last comes around, I will face the freezing water without a sound. I know it's wrong, I know it's sin, But Invidia I will always hold within. [/color][/b]
Inspiration: I was feeling really guilty for being jealous of a friend of mine. And at the time I had been doing a little research into the 7 Deadly Sins (Now you know what I spend my freetime doing. Lol). So feeling reasonably inspired, I sat down and wrote this. It even rhymes! Which is more than you can say about most of my poetry...

~*~Dream for Reality~*~
A shape runs in the darkness, silver-black and strong Running ever nearer, running through the fog With ragged breath it comes, stalking silently I turn to run away, as I turn I see…
I wake
My day flies right by me and night begins once more I lie down my head, dreams begin to soar
A shape runs in the darkness, silver-black and strong Running ever nearer, running through the fog With ragged breath it comes, stalking silently I turn to run away, as I turn I see… A wolf stands before me, poised about to spring Teeth are barred and bloody, but she stays there lingering
I wake
My day goes by again and night comes once more I lie down my head, dreams begin to soar
A shape runs in the darkness, silver-black and strong Running ever nearer, running through the fog With ragged breath it comes, stalking silently I turn to run away, as I turn I see… A wolf stands before me, poised about to spring Teeth are barred and bloody, but she stays there lingering I reach out a hand, but she begins to growl Inching ever nearer, she emits a howl She looks into my eyes, I go to my knees Flinging arms around her, I hug her desperately With her head upon my shoulder, she whimpers soft and sweet Pulling back away from her, I get up to my feet With my hand upon her back and her standing by my side We walk off together, for dreams will never die
**Inspired by a dream I kept having

*-*Dreaming of a Free World-*-
I look outside what do I see Blood, love out that window I see that we live in this mess I tell myself I would never do that I fell asleep that night and it came too me when I watch things Changing all night sitting still at that window sill thinking of the world
I herd a story of a gang member got hurt and how that member went back to the gang.

Betrayal
Betrayed her kingdom and the throne Against the laws written in stone the daughter, bless, who was not wrong To support the enemy in the war begun traitor of the emperor and her land and thus before she was to stand trial and so she was sentenced to death the people jeering whilst the father wept Yet the girl, she stood tall and proud Never to let her head be bowed Till the grave was this girl to stand As the emperors daughter, tall and grand
The emperor watched as it all took place the young life that had gone to waste Although he had believed what she did to be right he had been the one to begin the fight The people of the kingdom had forced it to be And so it must be done the emperor could see But never had he believe it to be so The worth of a life to come so low
The love between the two was great something more powerful than words could state The bond between them none could quell Because they understood each other so well Yet all of this was to be taken away In the early hours of this day As the sad tears rolled down her cheek the daughter stood, unable to speak around her neck the rope was tied as the father stood watching by her side his girl was forever to stand with pride till the leaver was pulled, and his daughter died...
My Inspiration came from an idea I was discussing with someone, to do with my roleplaying character. To cut it short, she was going to be forced to give up her daughter to the rebels in order to gain their help in the war. It made me wonder how Naka would feel about having to let Tabby go with the rebels, and that led to me to wonder how different it would be if her daughter was killed for helping the Rouges (bad guys).
Yes its a long story, but you get the gist of it (right???)

- If you do not judge your show within a week of the specified ending time, someone else may be asked to judge it. You MAY NOT extend the show just because you don't have time to judge it... that's not fair. Once an ending date has been stated, you need to keep to it. - Any shows must be judged within a 30-day period, regardless of number of entries or any other special rules. This means that shows that are slow to fill because of their particular requirements must still be judged within 30 days, even if they're not full or haven't met other show requirements. If a show is still empty or only has 1-4 entries after 30 days, it will be locked and eventually deleted. If this competition hasn't been judged within 48 hours, a new judge will have to be found.
