Name of piece: Horxie About this Piece: I drew her, along with a male version, about a month ago for an unwell friend. She's a Mix between Wolf, Hyena, Fox and Horse. I understand that its a Wolf theme. Thats why Ive still entered her in. Its a pretty special picture to me. It took me quite awhile and its also going to be a major part of my port folio for Cartoon Animation College later this year. (Dont mind the Copyright thing, Ive watermarked that on for when I upload it to deviant). Email should you win something: email@example.com

About this piece: I don't usually do realistic sketches, and haven't done one for quite a while. I used a reference image for her face, and looked at some other wolf images but couldn't find a good one for her back legs. I had a lot of trouble scanning her, and lost a lot of light pencil marks in the process.
I uploaded her to my deviantART just now to host it.

-Name of piece: Bed Time Stories "The Wolf's Tails" Once upon a moon; Chapter 1 - A Bug's life
-About this piece: I started drawing the wolves thinking about what to make of it and nothing came to mind. But I have always wanted to make a children's book so I tried the concept out =] (And to make random shapes and stuff XD)
It's done in mechanical pencil. I had to use my digital camera so the quality wasn't great and that's the reason for the shadows =__= Also, School notes on the side, I just thought it could stay to give the illusion of an illustrated story, does it work? XD (I want to more in this "series", like... hummingbirds and such)

Awesome contest! I hope to see more of them!
-Name of piece: "Fantasy Howling Wolf"
-About this piece: I wanted to do a fantasy type wolf, with a long slender type body, petite head, and long bushy type tail... though it didn't quite turn out that way lol. It got the long tail and petite head, but the body isn't so slender. I still really like it though and figured I'd give it a shot! Granted it looks better on paper, I had to take a picture of it with my digital camera. It looks kind of blurry here . Also, some of the lines you see above it are actually from the next page in my drawing book. I didn't realize you could see that till I had already uploaded it lol.

-About this piece: I was going to actually make ol' goofy wolf look vicious, but when I got to the muzzle everything went kahblam, so I changed my mine - In pencil and coloured pencil. I did not realiza how wonky it was untill it was too late to go back!
Alex@Marvel: Other than the initial pain from hitting it, it really doesn't hurt that much. The worst part is when the vent in the back room ceiling blows air down and it stings a bit. I'm actually more annoyed that I can't dye my hair until after.
