- Callname: Ty - Showname: RMK's Tidas The Giant Titan - Breed(s): Yellow Lab - Personality: Extremely sweet and very smart. Ty listens very well and is pretty protective of me. He loves people and other animals, but when he meets a stranger and that stranger comes close to me he growls at them and looks at me to see what I think. He's not an agressive dog though. The only time Ty ever bit someone was when they were hurting me and I was really scared.(I hold to it that dogs can sense fear) Besides that though, Ty loves to swim. I make a point of not feeding him human food(even though vets sat 10% table scraps in their diet is alright), however, when he watches a movie with me(yes, he acually watches the movie. 102 Dalmations is his favorite) we share the popcorn Ty is a great dog and though he has a dog's limits, anyone who spends a good while around him will have trouble thinking that 'he's only just a dog'(Which, to me, he'll never be just that) - Other Info: He's not been cut...mainly because he's a hunting dog and it isn't very wise to 'fix' a hunting dog because it is common belief that it takes a bit out of them.(He doesn't mark the house though, so we havn't run into any problem with him not being 'fixed') Also, Ty has 14 points here at RKC Two BIS and a 1st

- Callname: Jessie - Showname: Kew Park Gem - Breed(s): Greyhound - Personality: The sweetest dog I have ever known. Shes quite shy of strangers, except when we go to shows, then she gets quite bold! She loves other dogs, but other sighthounds are her favourites. At home she is always at my side, my shadow! - Other Info: Jessie is a rescue dog, she is an ex-racer and was badly abused. She didn't have any confidence and was very wary of people. I took her to some small dog shows to boost her confidence & she won BIS at her very first show. Since then she has qualified & been shown at Crufts twice now! (photo was taken at Crufts) Shes 9 years old, so shes getting on a bit in dog years and I have retired her from showing. She more than just a pet to me, shes my best friend!

Since there doesnt seem to be any more entries, I will judge it as is... BIS - RMK's Tidas The Giant Titan 1st - K's Long and Lanky 2nd - Kew Park Gem 3rd - LBCF's Bondi Beach Here I come HM - K's Pretty Little Princess --- Adorable dogs everyone. As a side note; just for randomness sake... DemonDog, you have similar view son hunting dogs vs. desexing. Though, i dont knwo if your view is based on both genders losing "something" or just one... I mainly see the difference in males, since their energy is linked to their testosterone. Male dogs lose a fair amount of energy when you desex them and that can be the difference between a great hunting dog and an adiquet hunting dog. - - Another sidenote, Kassidy; Allie looks like she has the body of a tibetan spaniel: www.dogbreedinfo.com/images7/Tibetan_Spaniel_tedestack.jpgNot the face obviously; But the body shape and purportions seem very similar.

Thanks SOOOO much for BIS!!!! And I believe that spaying the females in alright in most cases. It doesn't really change much in their behaivor except for the fact that you don't have to deal with the mess of your female going into heat...and then trying to take her out hunting with another male dog. I've seen people try this before and it's a disaster(obviously enough). Nah, fixing your female hunters is a good idea if you want a good hunting dog who won't cause...err...distractions Thanks again for BIS!!!
