I've been trying to breed my female mixed breed (alley x b+w shorthair x calico) with a male chinchilla persian for literally about 2 hours. They seem to be in love, making lovey eyes at each other and interacting affectionately, and they're in the living room with the fireplace on and no other items as distractions. And yet 2 hours later, still no pregnancy. I've checked about five times that they're both adults, not spayed/neutered and not already pregnant. Are there some pets that just won't have a baby no matter what or should I keep trying?
Update: It took 3 and a half hours but they finally got pregnant. Am still interested in my original question though, even if I know it was possible for these two in the end.

Did you not try PetzA, or were you trying to go au naturale? At times, petz will take forever and a day to breed naturally, which is largely why we all use PetzA now.

Does the alley/BW/calico have an alley personality? Since those catz are cursed with eternal sickness and fleas (unless you cure them in LNZPro or adopt from a fixed overwrite) they can take aaaaaaaaaaages to breed naturally. Glad they finally cooperated for you.

Thanks guys. I don't mind waiting long periods of time (not like I sit and stare at my petz screen non-stop!) so that's okay with me.
