I had two petz out at a time, Billy and Asterisk, and they both really enjoyed each other's company and it was really cute watching them. Then I invited a 3rd pet out, Duvet, who's really good friends with Asterisk. Duvet and Asterisk started talking with/hanging out with each other while Billy was around. And Billy got like-- depressed? Sad? Duvet isn't visibly hostile towards Billy... but she does kind of stare angrily at him from time to time. I kind of wonder-- now Petz was made with only 2 petz out at a time so I'm assuming the Artificial Intelligence was programmed to handle only 2 petz relationships at a time? Or perhaps I'm wrong? I'd love to hear ideas and possibly examples of others observing 3 petz interacting with one another in complex ways.

Ohhhhhh that's interesting I think jealousy might have been programmed in to factor kittens and puppies? You can have four petz total in vanilla gameplay

Ohhhhhh that's interesting :O I think jealousy might have been programmed in to factor kittens and puppies? You can have four petz total in vanilla gameplay I'm assuming you are talking about babies still with their mommies? I think those petz have been stripped of their normal interactions with other petz. Since babies can't interact with/have relationships with other petz, I don't think that other age 12+ petz will react with jealous of a baby in that way. Now, I know age 12+ petz will notice and try to interact with babies and be thoroughly ignored which can cause the 12+ petz to be upset? But I think I'm trying to ask about jealousy that stems from other pets' relationships. Does this make sense ><?
