:D
Rules - Age 100, Catz - Right-facing, standard pose - No clothes, white backgrounds only - 1 entry per person: 1 photo and Pet's name - Will judge at the first 5 entries
I will most likely try to explain my selections for BIS to HM (mostly as a learning experience; also if I have time to do so) and ask a lot of questions.

Thanks and my suggestion is to focus on vertical feet alignment and ear allignment. Usually if they're within one pixel of each other the cat is at least close to is aligned. Also the feet pixels usually show if they're not alligned and if the eyes properly match (Assuming they're not a calico personality) it also helps give a good picture. Also fat cats generally will show pixels past the arms when unaligned regardless if they have the same shape arms on both sides.

I just have the hardest time telling/seeing the pixels that stick out in the arms, even when its not aligned. I took a bunch of photos of a Persian I have and each has a slightly 1 pixel off alignment from each other but I can't tell which is the best (I'll post a help thread here about it later). I just find it very hard :V Thanks and my suggestion is to focus on vertical feet alignment and ear allignment. So you're saying if I can draw a flat line under the bottom feet, it should be straight?

Should be straight or the back feet are one pixel higher than the front feet. If you get a one pixel pen in paint you should be able to draw the line and see. And send me a PM about it if you need any help!

Thor , what I find helps with fat catz, where it’s hard to see the length of the leg to judge the proper alignment, is to look at the paw alignment itself: any bit showing on top, to the right, to the left? (on some of paws, a bit shows to the left and is normal). Also, when comparing posing pics of my own catz, I like to use an image viewer (like Irfan View) that opens the pics in their own individual windows, exactly on top of each other. Then, you can hover your cursor on the pictures’ tabs in the Windows toolbar to quickly go from one to the other without taking your eyes off the pictures — I always find the best pic this way! (and that helps developing an eye for it in the long run). Unless grossly misaligned (which would be obvious by other signs), it can be tricky, or even unfair, to rely on whether the paws are flat (as if resting on a surface) or straight (flat line between front and back paws). I only judge based on what can be controlled (the alignment and tail curve, and eyelids to some degree), and what can be optimally achieved by each particular breed/body parts to the best of my knowledge. In Petz, whether a paw is flat or not can be caused by a random, uncontrollable ball roll, or inherent to the paw/leg combination. A flat line between front and back can also be thrown off by a particular paw/leg combination. There are many examples of that in my showroom and SGCh Lounge, but here are a couple glaring ones where looking for flat paws or straight line between back and front doesn’t work: Sorry, so lengthy

Yes, my explanation excludes situations where the ball exceeds the paw line or a leg is longer than it might normally be, that would be unfair. I use it more as a guide for double checking alignment when I can't see, rather than something a person should be judged on.
Unfortuately (and fortunately) there are so many possible variables when judging petz.
