At some point, all my Petz stopped aging. Every day, I take them all out, pet them, and set their food brainslider to 100 and their sickness and fleas to 0. I feed some of them naturally and that doesn't age them either. At some point my game also started asking me for a serial number and resetting my suitcase every time I start the game, but I don't know if those things started happening at the same time or if they have anything to do with each other. When I mate Petz, they give birth after three days, but the babies never age. What should I do? When I installed the game, I accidentally just put all the files loose in Program Files instead of their own folder, is that the problem or is it something else?

Depending on what operating system your computer is using, Petz doesn't usually like to be installed into Program Files. It tends to cause various kinds of issues with the game. Most people will want to install it into My Documents or, in my case, a custom folder directly on the C: drive. I think backing up your pets files and reinstalling the game to a better location might help.

Do I delete all the files or is there some other way I need to do it? I don't want to mess anything up on accident.

Is there not an automatic uninstall option? If you can find your game listed in your Start menu you'd see it listed as Ubi Soft > Petz 5 > Uninstall Petz 5, or something like that.
You *could* delete all the files but I prefer using a cleaner method of uninstalling, to play it safe. Maybe someone else here has advice on deleting the files manually.
Otherwise, you might be able to uninstall it using other programs. CCleaner is a good one, as it helps keep your computer clean of junk files that build up in the background over time, etc and comes with an uninstaller to remove other programs.

You're welcome! Glad you were able to find the game's uninstaller, and hopefully you can get all of this sorted out.

I'm posting here again in case anyone else is encountering this issue. The reinstall to My Documents did not fix my issues, but it did fix a problem where I could not place texture files in the resource folders. However, I read some old threads and people suggested running the game as administrator. I tried that yesterday and my suitcase no longer resets when I close the game. I ran it as administrator again today and my Petz have aged!

I completely forgot to mention about running the game as admin. Oops!
