So I just adopted my first Gotham Samoyed from Alex@Gotham, and I am super stoked!! I love how much work was put into the selective breeding and the fact that most of the dogz have over 100 points. It was always sad to see they were P5 only but with the new petflux I was able to take a baby home! I do love showing my petz and I felt really the only way to respect Alex's hard work is to naturally raise this baby, and show him to over 100 points. Today was his first day home. First thing we did was head over to the clothes closet, he adored the tie-dye and I couldn't bear to take it off of him! Then we headed over to the kitchen where he had his first meal. At first he was more interested in doing tricks then eating, but eventually he settled down<3 After dinner I gave him a nice bone to chew on to relax and clean his teefs, but Spalding had other plans! He just wanted to play Fetch! We threw the bone around a few times until he was a bit more settled down. Then we worked on a little bit of posing training, and even some trick training! The boy loves to show off his tricks! After all the fun, I took off his t-shirt and let him head off to bed, just like I will be doing shortly. Tomorrow we will head on our first beach trip and get our first brushing! We may also meet some other petz too! I will keep udating this post as Spalding and I spend some more time together and get to know each other<3 Thank you again, Alex@Marvel , He is such a sweet boy!!

So sorry for the delay! Crazy past few days between work, my fiance's birthday, etc! I normally don't naturally raise petz because things always range from super hectic to super boring here and I never know which it's gonna be (plus i'm impatient to see what they look like as adults lol) anyway I finally got a chance to take Spalding to the beach like I had promised him! First stop was the toys closet to give him a brushing, with a coat like that he needs to get used to it now before he gets any knots! We did the wooden brush first to get any knots or shedding fur out and then used the blue brush to make him look all fluffy and nice! Then we headed to the kitchen for a quick bite to eat (which he was not super interested in,) and the clothes closet to get a 'beach outfit' on (which he WAS super interested in lol) Spalding apparently loves to play dress up so we tried on a few different items of clothing before settling on some sunglasses and 'swimming trunks.' Unfortunately the beach was littered with hairballs and sticks! Yuck!! Spalding didn't seem to mind too much but was very interested in the hermit crab shell. (trying to make a new friend?) He was nudging it around with his nose before finally picking it up and bringing it over to me like "Halp mom" Unfortunately I couldn't get that silly hermit crab out either, so we decided to play tuggies instead! After our fun at the beach we once again worked on our posing training, and played a bit more dress up before finally heading off to bed. I may take him out a little later today and play with him some more! Depending on how the night goes! I'm already shocked at how big he's gotten and can't believe how wonderful his personality is!!

~day 3, Give it up for day 3~ Today we started the day off with a little taste test! I left the blue bowl, the silver bowl, the water bowl and the leftovers all out in the kitchen when Spalding came out for him to choose his own dinner. He, surprisingly, chose the water first! Then he, unsurprisingly, chose the leftovers and didn't even acknowledge the 2 full bowls of kibbles right beside it. Oh, well! Then we headed to the living room where I introduced him to the music box! I was hoping he would like it but he was at most uninterested by it. He then was surprised by 2 squirrels running around the room! He caught one but immediately let it go! Then I brought out a friend! Spalding met Mulder, my border collie and they became friends very quickly! They played together with the ball and chased each other around for a bit! After that Spalding and I dressed up and braved the cold in the snow scene to play with some snow balls! Spalding seemed a bit tired after all the fun we already had today but still managed to make friends with Snowball before falling asleep<3

Look at cute. I won't be able to be as dedicated keeping track of each day like this, but I LOVE Spalding! (Alex or whoever else has these Gotham Sammies needs to do another litter so we can all have a friend for these cuties ;3)

The faster the shows go, the faster I have pups.

(Day 4) Today the first thing we did was play fetch in the backyard with Spalding's favorite toy, the bone! Followed by a nice kibble breakfast in the kitchen, and a lovely brushing in the toy closet. Then we got dressed up and tried to make friends in the Wild West, unfortunately the chihuahua we met wasn't super into Spalding. Oh well. Then we headed home and Spalding got into the cat nip! He seemed to have a grand old time rubbing all over the floor and playing with the star ball!

Day 5, lazy sunday Today Spalding and I just hung out. I put out a bunch of toys in the toy closet and let him have at it. He really enjoyed the scarecrow and the jolly ball! Then I let him play in the yard with Baja, one of my Catahoula Leopard Dogs. After playing with Baja I noticed poor Spalding was sneezing so I put some medicine in a nice mug of hot cocoa for him and let him take a nice nap<3 A wonderful, lazy sunday<3

Day 6 We've been taking it kinda slow (work has been quite hectic lately) and mostly working on socialization and seeing new things! I really enjoy introducing Spalding to everyone I can and letting him see all the toys/objects available! This time he played with Voltage, another one of my Catahoula Leopard Dogs and the kitty in the South Seas Scene<3
