Hi everyone! I haven't played Petz in years. I played Petz 2 and 3 when I was a kid. It introduced me to coding, and I enjoyed it so much! I want to get back into it but is there a way for me to buy the game (a digital copy) online? Catz 3 or 4 or 5, whichever's available. I don't have a CD drive anymore so a physical copy (the box with the CD) would be useless. And also, is there a way for me to play it on my Mac? I have a Macbook Pro running Mac OS High Sierra, but if I can't play it on my Mac, I will probably ask my boyfriend if I can use his Windows computer hehe. I'm super sad that the developer no longer supports this game series! But it's great that there's still this online community.

No, there's sadly no way to buy a digital copy (at least not that I'm aware of). You could buy a disc drive that could connect to your computer and then use the disc that way.
I think it can be played on a Mac, I think I remember the box saying PC/Mac, but I have no idea how it goes on a Mac

I believe you need to use a program such as Wine to run Petz on Mac. I think it was only made for Win 95/98.

Hey soprano, Mac player here. I personally run Petz on a program called PlayOnMac (which is free and safe, by the way) Just download everything from this Link Removed and run it through PlayOnMac.

Linking to pirated software including methods of unlocking demo software is against Proboard rules so I have removed the link from the last post.
