It seems like this is the best I can get this cat. It bugs me because you can see the gray of the other front leg to the right at the top, but if you look down at the wrist you can see some of the cream of its other paw on the left. So is this cat aligned or not? Same with this cat: Which one is better aligned?

What's the weight of the cat? To me, it looks like a Calico leg, but thinned-down, which would produce this type of leg-bit near the top, even when aligned.
Also, with catz, I don't align at the wrist like dogz. I align the length of the leg as best as possible. The rest will fall into place to its optimal position.
The two bottom poses are both bad in my opinion. The one on the left is slightly better, but only because the one on the right is so misaligned, with WAY too much leg showing on the left side of it. Both show too much of the second leg though. Here again, I feel it's a thinned-down Calico leg, and the problem of the left pose might be fixed (or close) if the cat was fattened up at bit.

Good eye, they were both at 0 fatness. I plumped them up a bit, here are some new pictures with them both at 60: They're better, especially the one on the left. I think the one on the right still has too many pixels showing at the top right but that might be user error. What do you mean when you say you try to align the length of the leg? Do you mean while you're still holding them in the air? Thanks for all your help by the way <3

I agree, the one on the right has a few too many pixels showing at the top right.
By aligning the length of the leg, I just mean my end result goal is to have the best possible alignment of the leg for that type of leg, regardless of the front paws alignment. I usually drop the kitty with the paws slightly misaligned (when standing -- little bit more paw showing to the left) to get a perfect leg alignment.

Ah, okay! Yeah, I try to do that too. I usually start snapping when the front paw shows a little more on the left too, but it's hard to know when to drop them while they're spinning!
Thanks again for your help!
