Marita Marita has had a home on my harddrive since 2008! I loved her when I bred her because of the mostly solid coat with patches, which is a look I love. Her dad, Albus, is also one of my show kitties, but proud little Marita here beat him to the SGCh level! She knows she's beautiful and likes to show it off. ;D
I started showing her all the way back in February, and she was already reminding me of autumn! Fitting that she should finish up her title in September, then! Her first pose was sadly not all that good (my fault, not hers, of course), but once I got her on track with a good picture she was able to finish up well.

Hallow I snatched Hallow off Facebook, where he was being given away by Jenn@Nightbloom. I couldn't believe no one had taken him yet--those gray eyes, the spotty chest, and his orange accents. Perfect for Halloween <3 And since he came with the name Hallow, I just slapped the show name "Deathly Hallows" on him, since it seemed like it was meant to be! I think he's super gorgeous.
I started showing him in August and he finished up in September. Unfortunately he didn't do great in the ring, which I think is partially my fault. He's only the second dog I ever posed myself, and his back leg was off a bit and so were his eyes. But I've got him in the PKC now and can hopefully correct those mistakes. I'm definitely looking forward to showing him off more :3

Cardiff Cardiff came to me through Bec , I believe from her PUGS shop. I loved his colors and of course his huge tail. When I had him out one day, I decided to see if he could pose, and what do you know--he was a natural! I gave him his show name "Prince of Wales" to go along with his call name Cardiff, since Cardiff is the capital of Wales and he is quite regal if I do say so myself ;D
I started showing him in July, took a break in August, and he finished up his SGCh title within a couple days when I started showing him again in September. He can't wait to spread his beautiful colors and ginormous tail to some kittens, who he hopes will take up his mantle (he is, after all, a monarch). He hasn't yet participated in any PKC shows, but he has been registered. He's just biding his time (:

Validité Aahhh I love Validité. He's the first of my dogz that I posed myself and entered into shows, and he did pretty well! He was bred by me earlier this year, and he's got so much going on that I love: bullie mix, those toes, sheepie tail, pink eyes, black+orange coat, some fuzz, nice spots. Just <3 His show name "Valid Analysis" comes right out of research methods, and matches his call name. He is so valid. :3
Validité entered the show ring in the last few days of July, mostly took a break for August, and finished up his SGCh title in September. Now he's ready to enjoy Halloween with his awesome colors. He's ready to take the PKC by storm--he's even been practicing for his Petz Citizen Scheme-- and he's ready for some pups. Ambitious little guy. <3

Albus I've had Albus over 10 years! His birthday was in July, on Harry Potter's own birthday. Only fitting that he would have a Harry Potter themed name and show name! :3 He's the father of Marita, who preceded him to SGCh, probably due in part to the fact that his first pose wasn't all that great (thanks awkward calico legs!). I thought he was so pretty with his white coat, dusty accents, and pink eyes when I bred him, although he is kind of plain by today's standards.
Albus was part of my first big show string, and he started entering shows in early March; however, he didn't finish up his title until late September. But Albus knows that good things come to those who wait. (: He's looking forward to hitting up the PKC, and also reveling in his winnings--treats, days out at the beach, and napping are some of his favorite activities.

Leland Leland came to me by way of Ali who hosted a hexing contest that I placed in; the prize was a couple of bred litters, of which Leland was a part. I won't say he's my favorite of the bunch but I will say he took to posing the most quickly, so here he is! ;D When it came time to name him, I was reading a book in which one of the main characters was named Leland. I actually thought about giving him a show name the same as the book's title, Shotgun Lovesongs, but held off because I wasn't sure I liked the book enough. Good thing too, because it turns out I didn't! Leland's show name derives from a different Leland--Leland Palmer, from Twin Peaks. Leland's show name "Futures Past" is from one of his lines.
Leland started showing soon after I adopted him, in mid-September, and finished his title later that month. He's won BIS six times, the most of any of my petz so far. I guess I didn't realize he'd actually finished his title because I continued placing him in shows for a while after it was "official." But Leland loves it so it's all good He can't wait to tear it up at the PKC.

Jemc Jemc was born to be fairly recently, back in September, and actually got an announcement in this thread, seeing as he is the son of two of my SGChs, Grille & Hanite! He's named after the author Jac Jemc, whose last name is pronounced "jemps" as far as I can tell. His show name is straight from the titles of one of her books, The Grip of It, which I was reading when he was born (and which is a good fall read as it's a haunted house story).
Expectations are not always satisfied, but Jemc has been everything I hoped for, tearing it up in the show ring to achieve his own SGCh status in just one week! Way to go, Jemc!! He went so fast that I didn't actually register him in the PKC until today. As much as he's looking forward to it, he kind of has some of his father's Casanova streak in him and wants some pups to call his own. :3

As Jemc prepared for the passing-the-baton SGCh ceremony, he figured it was just going to be a routine thing. And yet... when she walked out of the door... music started playing in his headHe was over the moon about his meeting with Selma, performing back flips and other tricks to try to impress. I could see where this was heading... especially with Jemc being a ladies' man like his dad. So I stopped the game, popped in an Aussie OW to stand in for some of Selma's characteristics, and sure enough... Little baby Phoebe was born. Welcome, Phoebe! Get it, Selma! ;D

Selma This dog... <3 She was hexed by Kitsune and I applied for her litter mates on Whiskerwick. I wasn't initially chosen for a pup but then she contacted me and said I could have a custom and I was so happy. I think Selma is one of my most photogenic dogz and I love her. I gave her the show name "Sunny Side" to reflect how happy she makes me. Half the time I have her aged down in my game because she makes an adorrrable smol.
Selma started her show career in mid-September and wound up her SGCh title about 10 days later. However this quick titling belies some problems in the show ring. Let it be known that they are 100% my fault and nothing to do with sweet little Selma <3 I'm still pretty new to posing dogz, and the fact that she was an Aussie especially threw me. So I was entering a really bad pose before finally figuring it out and getting a better one. Sorry Selma! You still made it! And helped me learn, too.

Brisk Brisk is a kitty I adopted from Bec , via her PUGS shop, I believe. I snatched her up mostly because of her colors--she's fairly simple but that little burst of orange makes her a subtle fall colored kitty, which is where she gets her show name "Brisk Autumn Morning." Her ears and tail make her extra cosy-seeming, ready to cuddle you in some blankets.
I started showing Brisk in mid-September and she wrapped up about two weeks later. She's already been registered over at PKC, where she will hopefully perform just as well! She's got a mellow personality but with a flair for fun and mischief, although she has assured me she's ready for the challenge of her Petz Citizen Scheme.

Ceres I bred Ceres in April. She's got a lot going on that I like--nearly monochrome, pufftail, those huge tabby eyes... I think she's just gorgeous! She is named, of course, after the goddess of the harvest/grain/agriculture. Her show name "Returning Equinox" ties into her call name; it comes from a poem that references Ceres as waiting for the equinox (I guess so the harvest can get underway!). I thought it was fitting because those silvery eyes always remind me of things related to space.
It was September before I wondered what kind of show potential she had--turns out it was a lot! Ceres achieved her SGCh title only 14 days after she stepped into the ring, with her lowest placement being 2nd place. In her free time she likes to destroy unsuspecting toys and spend time thinking about how tasty the goldfish would be even though she knows it's wrong.

Grogan I adopted Grogan from Ali on Whiskerwick back in July. I was really getting into tabbies, and I loved his poofy tail and how he is kind of monochrome--the tan, cream, and white going on. I think he's super pretty. :3 He is named after a character in The French Lieutenant's Woman, which is one of my favorite books. His show name ties in with that; it's part of a saying that the doctor says to the main character--"Dulce Est Desipere" is Latin that roughly translates to it's pleasant to act foolishly--basically, there's a time for relaxing and being frivolous.
Grogan's big tabby eyes combined with his mercifully aligning legs were great assets in the show ring, netting many BIS placements for him. He titled at SGCh just eleven days after staring to show. What a knockout! ;D He'll be showing at PKC soon, but he wants a bit of a rest first. Plus, he's got his eye on that family life.

Sweater Sweater was an autumn gift from dxgamer . His name and show name "Sweater Weather" reflect the kinds of things that were on my mind—living in such a hot climate, September (when I started showing him) is often still in the high 90s and you just want fall to arrive already, dammit! I got to choose Sweater out of a large litter, a purepred 41st-gen, non-inbred line, and chose him because he reminded me of fall with his dusty gray colors and orange eyes.
Sweater was a dream to pose. He earned his SGCh title in just FOUR DAYS (!!!), with 6 BIS titles and three first place placements. Sweater has set his sights on PKC shows, and although he is currently retired from forum showing, he does miss it. He's considering coming out of forum retirement to become my first pet with a higher-than-SGCh title... He would love to have pups but is looking for a special someone as he is quite proud of his pedigree. Drop him a line if you have any leads ;D

Hassan Hassan is a kitty I bred a few years back in 2015. I love alleys, and I loved his simple color scheme--gray & white seems so clean, and then the pink eyes added a little zing. Hassan's family tree goes back in "my" line for quite a few generations, and although he's not a super "pretty" cat, I like him quite a bit. :3 His show name comes from the song " In the Cold, Cold Night," which was playing as I was trying to figure out what to call him.
Hassan did pretty well in the show ring, bringing in some BIS & 1st placements, and is looking forward to PKC shows. He enjoys posing but is also looking forward to doing the Petz Citizen Scheme; as much as he loves living up to his alley personality, he is secretly a sweetie. <3

Jonquil Jonquil is a persian-bodied meezer who I bred in 2014. I liked the combination of her puffy body and slim face. She's named, of course, for the flower; they're not really the same color as her, although the inner part (the "cup" thing? I'm bad at flower terminology) can approach orange. Her show name, "Joy of Jonquils," is just some alliteration related to her sweet disposition.
Jonquil was either not the best of posers or perhaps somewhat overlooked due to her fat little persian feet and unimpressive back leg spread. She never won a BIS...but because of that, I think of her as a hard worker :3 She was at it for quite some time, spending about a year and a half in the show ring. She's quite expressive and I think will do well in her Petz Citizen Scheme. Jonquil is definitely a sweetie pie and a lover, and would love to bring some kittens into this world.
