Does anyone have a good recommendation for an alternative to Photobucket? It's so stupidly slow now and all the adverts are driving me crazy to the point my poor laptop is struggling to cope. I only really use it for Petz so I am not looking for anything too fancy Cheers

This would go in the help desk, although I agree with your comments on photobucket.

What I was going to say also. Tinypic is good also and I used that frequently.

^ It is, but I dunno if Imgur does this or not, but I know Tinypic reuses links after a while. That can be awkward sometimes, and I hate that, haha!
That said, does anyone know if Imgur does that?

Do you guys make accounts on Imgur? I used it a couple of times but didn't like how the image would just disappear after I used it. That's why I stuck to photobucket, because I liked to reuse my pics without reuploading them. If you're able to make an account on imgur and have the images be private, I'll totally switch to it.

Yup you can make accounts! If you make an account it works like photobucket. You can choose to make images public, private unless someone has the link, or totally private.

^ That's good to know, thanks!
At the moment, I'm sticking with photobucket. It behaved beautifully today, no slow stuff at all.

Thanks for the info! I switched over to Imgur and it's ten times faster. I'll pop back over to photobucket if I need an old pic from there, but imgur is really helpful for quickly uploading show pics and things like that.

Imgur's the best really. Nothing else you can say about that.
Although before I discovered it, I once used Tinypic but that site's now riddled with ads, and I've been told before that links to some images you upload there may break. Imageshack was good too back in the day, until that's gone down the gutter also.

I use Gyazo for my pictures. It's actually a snapshot making program but it automatically uploads it online for you so I just link to that lol.

Lately, I've actually been making drafts (essentially non-public posts) on Tumblr that contain the photos I want. It definitely works and is fairly convenient!

I've been using postimage.org which seems to be problem-free, and you can either make an account or not.
