I still haven't tried Pokemon Go, but it doesn't really seem to be my thing. I mean, physical activity? Get out of here. I'd totally choose Valor though. The memes have spoken to me.
Inciniroar grew on me too. Well, I certainly didn't dislike him when he was revealed (or rather, when I saw the leak). But I think I like him just as much as Primarina now. Wrestler Cat is a Good Cat.

I quit Pokemon Go a while back :/ now I'm addicted to Moon haha. Kalium I love the drawing! Before the game came out (but after the starter evolution leaks came out) all the cute art of Incineroar on Tumblr made him grow on me. I still hate that they made him a wrestler, but I didn't really like any of the starters third evolutions and Torracat and Litten won me over. I also seem to have a pattern when it comes to liking fire starters haha. I almost picked Popplio but didn't. In Pearl I picked Chimchar and in ORAS it was a tough choice between Mudkip and Torchic (though I ended up going water that time). Maybe I'll just stick with fire starters haha.

I recently began playing Pokemon Go, even though I live 3 & 1/2 miles from the nearest gym (and travel on foot more often than not). Got a Lucky Minun and a Shiny Murkrow yesterday, so that's kinda cool. It's my first proper entry to the franchise, aside from watching a few episodes of the anime a couple of years ago.
I'm enjoying it, just wish we had more pokestops close to my home and more interactivity between local players.

Congrats on the shiny Murkrow and lucky Minum. I have a shiny Minum which is my fav of the pair but I would like a shiny Plusle for the set but I can't find one although there's been plenty around. Last shiny I got was original Meowth during the Team Rocket event.
I'm lucky that where I am there are quite a few gyms in town and a route along the gardens with lots of Pokestops. I know it's a lot harder if you live in a more rural area. If you can find any local players who are level 40 they can suggest new pokestops now so that might be something worth trying?
Anyone playing Sword and Shield? We bought Sword and I'm about to battle the 4th gym. Stopped to level up my team a bit as I switched a few around but I should be ready to face the gym leader now.

I have both i got the special double edition with both games, I've completed Sword as my OMG ITS OUT I NEED TO PLAY IT ALL!!!! Now I'm about to actually play at a more leisurely pace on Shield. I really enjoyed the story in this one. Team yell are a bit obnoxious and there's no real 'bad guys gang' like the previous games which is unusual. Your rival is your friend who you travel with more or less unlike somebody you just want to outright beat, you feel bad for Hop as he battles with his self worth and really his depression in never being good enough, and i enjoyed the story of unlocking the legend. By FAR better than Sun and Moon. The over stereotypical British-ness though as a Brit myself was a little awkward... but not off putting enough that i had to stop playing like we happy few...

The over stereotypical British-ness though as a Brit myself was a little awkward... but not off putting enough that i had to stop playing like we happy few... We keep reading the dialogue out loud in a mockney accent. Some of the dialogue is things we say but somehow it's all a bit obvious and cringey. I don't mind though, it's making me laugh. At least no one yet has said "Cor' blimey guvna."

I have actually watched some documentaries where the British hosts have used Cor', blimey and I've heard guvna while speaking in reference to a previous governor. Yet governess is completely articulated! I really want to try the new games, but IDK when I'd have time. My cousin waxed philosophical about Shield for a good fifteen minutes and showed me a bit, and I'm just like "I remember when Pokemon was 8 bit" lmao. Here I was thinking I was going to talk about how I dressed up as a shiny skitty for Halloween at work. In a factory. As an adult. (yes I do in fact have pictures to prove it.)

Does pokemon go count? I used to play it at least 5 min ever day. But with the plague upon us I haven't been able to go out.

Does pokemon go count? I used to play it at least 5 min ever day. But with the plague upon us I haven't been able to go out. They have added a few features to make it more worthwhile to just play from home. You can participate in nearby raids remotely and you get a field research every day without needing to spin stops, plus a number of other, smaller changes that facilitate playing without walking around outside.

Awesome! Maybe I should get it going again. XD Thank you!
