I'm sorry for bumping such an old post, but I'm having the exact same problem! My Petz 5 game will not create a keys folder and it must be causing trouble for Tinker to locate my game. Could someone please email me the keys folder to blazinqmoon@gmail.com? I haven't found any other website that has publicly shared it. Sent you a copy of the keys folder. Hope you can open .rar files?

Thank you for the quick response, I was able to extract the folder from the .rar file and Tinker is now able to locate my Petz 5 game! Not sure why my game wouldn't make the folder on its own, maybe because I'm on Windows 10. Thank you so much for sending it to me, I doubt I would've been able to make it work otherwise

No problem! Newer operating systems can be finicky like that, I suppose that could be the reason why it wasn't making the folder, but I'm glad it's sorted out now. ;]

I recently came across an old Vista laptop. I had the same trouble at first until I was able to create a keys folder. Then I came across something from Carolyn's Creations. homebody.eu/carolyn/carolyn.htmThe menu included a page " Info 2 Vista " Reading down the page you came across You can get the Registry fix for Petz 5 here (click). Unzip it and move the Keys folder into your game's Resource folder, then double-click on the reg file -- but you may wish first to open it in Notepad and, wherever you see D:\\Games\\Petz5\\ change it to, say, C:\\Program Files\\UBI Soft\\Studio Mythos\\Petz 5\\ or wherever you installed the game The registry won't do any good for systems other the Vista but the zip includes a Keys folder. Seems like this problem started with Vista. PS: I found out you also run Tinker as administratorand not just the game.

Yes, I run tinker, PW and LNZ as administrator and it seems to give the best results.
