I've just downloaded the Stuff pack so that took around 24hrs to appear on my list. ^ Got my stuff pack about 24 hours later, too. Just installed it and getting ready to see what's in there Simcity 4 has a daily deal discount at the moment. I've had the deluxe version on CD for years but every time that it goes on sale on Steam I keep thinking of buying it as a back up. I've also had SimCity 4 on CD for a long time. Last time I played it (I think it was on XP), I was experiencing crashes. Like you, I've been tempted to get the digital version, but haven't yet... I've been playing SimCity 5 recently, but I'm really stumped about the way RCI demand works when there's more than 1 active city in a region. Do you know, Catbaloo? I had a great time building my first city in an empty region, then I claimed a plot in a region with several cities owned by other players. I did everything I know to increase residential and commercial density, but my city -- which is still in its infancy -- is now completely stagnant! Everything stays at low density even though everybody's mostly happy and my roads are upgraded. Is RCI demand/density affected by other cities? That would be so dumb... I really enjoyed sharing resources and services with other cities, but how can it work if my citizens go shop and work in other cities, even though they have adequate commercial and industrial buildings nearby?? I also have problems with the second city I started in my own single player region -- the RCI demand makes no sense whatsoever and that 2nd city is not flourishing as it should. I wonder if this will change when offline mode is finally released. Will I be able to have several of my own cities in the same region, without them messing each other up? I hope.

I don't know exactly what is causing the problem but yes I believe the desirability in your town can be affected by what is going on in the other cities. If there is a neighbouring city with a demand for jobs that should increase the demand in your own town. If they have jobs but not enough Sims then residential demand should go up. When you click on the buildings do they give any clues on what they want? If I see that the density bar is ready to up to the next level I tend to plop down a few parks nearby. Only use the ones for the wealth level that you want to attract though. Put lots of bus stops around too if you haven't already.

It probably doesn't count as a real game but i'm kind of addicted to Cookie Clicker right now for some reason... There is absolutely no point to it besides collect cookies... It is quite fun reading about what is going on though as well.

Only use the ones for the wealth level that you want to attract though. Put lots of bus stops around too if you haven't already. They all say they're happy. The RCI bars barely shows any demand for anything (bit of low and middle wealth residentials, nothing else). I have parks, but I'll have to check it they're the right kind for what I need. I haven't added any mass transit yet though, so I'll try that too. Thanks for the suggestions The region I started that city in has about 10 other cities (some that haven't been played in a while). I'll probably avoid playing in multiplayer regions from now on :\ I tried Runner2 that I got with the Humble Bundle, but oh boy... that is hard! I might not have the required reflexes to play a game like that! (tried Joe Danger 2 too, and I fared only slightly better, but probably won't be able to go far either). I actually bought old Transport Giant Gold Edition 2012 on sale from GamersGate the other day. Reminds me of the old days, the type of games that got me into gaming so many years ago I should have picked up Industry Giant 2 too, but I played that one to death in the past and thought I didn't need it again... but now I miss it because it's a lot more intricate than Transport Giant.

I started playing Kingdom Hearts 2 last night. I played through the first one twice I think but when I started the second game I only made it past the prologue and never made it further than that. But I'm going to play it through this time!

Kingdom Hearts 5eva!!
I've a mind to buy Bravely Default because hale yeah Square Enix but I rarely have time to play on my DS, I'm not sure if it's worth it to spend £35 right now... maybe it'll be cheaper in a few months' time but who knows, it might be even more expensive (it has gone up a coupla quid since it first came out). DO I RISK IT

DO I RISK IT I haven't played it but I know someone who has. They recommend playing the demo first as it has different story from the full game and some unlockable item sets which you can transfer to the main game. If you buy the e-shop version you can download the AR cards here: bravelydefault.nintendo.com/ar-cards/The Time Void I got sucked into Cookie Clicker for a while until I deleted by cookies and hadn't made a recent backup. That broke the spell. I'm still chugging through Bit Trip Runner 2. I had the wonderful idea of starting my perfect run quest from the last world and work backwards. The idea being that I'm already used to the harder difficulty so just go for it and have an easier time later but it's taking forever! XD Free game link of the day: Dungeon Keeper Gold edition is free until Sunday at GOG.

Did anyone play Thief yet? I'm very curious to hear what other people think of it. (No spoilers please, I have not played yet.)

Ah it's out now, isn't it. I'll probably pick it up today but big work project (for me) so I probably won't get to play it until Thursday if I get everything done. Will post back how it is if no one else gets around to it. I've been looking forward to it.

Do MMOs count here? Because I have been addicted to this MMO called Sylestia... Its pretty much a pet breeding/collecting game mixed with an RPG, it has a story and you can battle mosters and level up your pets and all that, i'm surprised it has kept me entertained this long, (lol, only a few days, but that's a lot for me, I usually get bored of these types of MMOs pretty quickly, but its a pretty easy game to get into) probably has something to do with my goal of collecting every type of creature, male and female... But I think the battling and RPG thing also does.

Anyone play Banished? I just got addicted to it today. It's a bit like Simcity and Sims put into one. You start off with a small population of people with nothing but a storage. You send them to cut down trees, gather stone etc then build things. If they're happy they'll reproduce and your town gets bigger and bigger. I liked Simcity growing up but I much prefer this cause you can interact more with the population. They have jobs, go to school and other stuff.

I've played it a little bit so far, but haven't had the time to get deep into it yet. I like it, but I hear it's easy to lose our whole population suddenly due to food-chain collapse. The interface is a little clumsy (and some buttons too tiny), but I like the graphical style a lot otherwise. Reminds me a bit of Settlers II (which I love).

I just read about it on the site, might try to get it some day soon.
