The above picture shows how to find the adult lnz and the kitten lnz (for those that don't know)
NOTE: I use Hexplorer and its available at - artemis.wszib.edu.pl/~mdudek/
Step 1, Select the adult lnz, starting from the ; going down to the 2 at the end of the lnz and then "right click" "save as" "new file" give it a name like " adultlnz.txt " make sure you add the .txt
Step 2, Open your new adultlnz.txt file in your hex-editor, check the size of it and write down the number of bytes it is (IMPORTANT!)
Step 3, Now you want to "Edit" "Replace" 09 (hex numbers! use the "hex" spot)
and "with" 20 (hex numbers! use the "hex" spot) and hit the "Replace All" button.
(that replaces all tabbed spaces with normal spaces)
Step 4, "Edit" "Replace" again, this time "replace" 2020 (hex numbers for 2 spaces)
"with" 20 (hex number for 1 space) then "Replace All" again
(repeat step 4 untill you no longer see any double spaces, on the hex side it will be 2020) (I usually have to save and close the file and reopen it a few times to get the "replacing" to work right)
Step 5, have a look at the size and compare it to the original size, if you want/need even more room then "Replace" 2C (hex for a comma) "with" 20 "Replace All" and repeat step 4.
NOTE: you will make lots of room if you remove the commas!
Step 6,(for even more space) Open your adultlnz.txt file in notepad and remove ;comments
ie;
[Head Enlargement];104 0
change to
[Head Enlargement]
ie;
[Default Scales];was 118 118
110 ; normal pet scale
114 ; normal ball scale
change to
[Default Scales]
110
114
I also do this;
[Omissions]
65 eBall_zorient, // 65
66 eBall_ztrans, // 66

You can do it in your hex-editor but I find it easier to remove comments in notepad.
Step 7, Now compare size again and see how many spaces you removed
Step 8, add to file to make it the size it originally was.
(I usually add what I want and then stick any leftover spaces in under the paws stuff untill the file size it back to the original size)
Step 9, Open your adultlnz.txt file in your hex-editor (if it isn't already open) and "copy" it, then open your original breedfile and "paste" your new adult lnz over the old one, now "save"
I usually "save as" a million times while working on a new breed and I number my saved files so I can go back if I mess up.
Now about the kitten lnz, you can make room in it just like the adult lnz BUT don't take spaces "from" the kitten lnz "for" the adult lnz! or vice-versa(sp?)
--------------
Hope all that makes sense
Not only did I get that done up but I also did p3/4/5 non-ows for 5 breeds and before I did either - I bred 3 new pairs to test 3 of those breeds
ask questions if you need to
and please excuse all my spelling mistakes
